I've lost everything. I was homeless and had been without food for weeks... due to my income, not my debt to income ratio, ECHO, decided to "help" me...
They gave me tons of moldy bread and donuts. Rotten greenbeans, so much rotten food.
I can do without that kind of thoughtless help,
It was supposed to be a month worth of food. I had to toss most of it it within days... 2 people aren't going to eat 7. Going moldy loafs of bread and 6 boxes of kwickTrip donuts.
Far as I'm concerned.... these people do not care about your circumstances. They will judge you based on income.... not the circumstances.
We salvaged very little from my visit to ECHO.... it was all expired.

ECHO is one of the best places in Janesville!!! They help those in need, food services, rental assistance, School supplies when school starts in the fall, Easter Baskets at Easter, Thanksgiving Baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas gifts for kids at Christmas. THE STAFF at ECHO genuinely care about the clients, with a little help from ECHO many can get back on their feet after experiencing hard times. OUR COMMUNITY is blessed to have ECHO here! Our community is a better place because of ECHO !!

I went to echo for help with rent. Im a single father who gets no help raising my son ontop of $150 a week I pay in back child support.Paying $1060 a month on a $16 an hour salary because places who say they are hiring never call back.I got behind on rent and looked to echo and wera for help.Got through the whole wera process and was getting help from them and went to the appointment I had at echo to tell them Im getting help from Wera The lady was incredibly rude treated me totally disrespectfully.Wouldnt even let me finish a sentence.I got upset because of the treatment I recieved because my paperwork was missing when I was telling the lady I was canceling. And what a coincedence ,right after the meetingWera sends me an email saying they arent helping either .Thanks Echo now because of you guys Im homeless. So glad for your help.Seems a little sex ist or maybe they just stereotyped me .Either way I went to cancel my appointment because I had help and because of the incredibly rude lady I got no help from Wera either .If I could give zero stars I would.I know she called or talked to Wera too .Whoever you are you shouldnt be in a position to help people the way you make them feel. You should be ashamed of yourself
