I called Dan's to make sure they did repairs. I talked with Dan, and he was helpful and friendly. When I went to the shop, it was nostalgic of my childhood visits to the downtown cobbler aged gentleman with hands of a craftsman and shoes n boots ? everywhere. Best of all, my repairs were done competently, in a timely fashion and at a fair price.

This place is cheap! He has repaired things without charging. Could be a little cleaner, though.

Needed a HEAVY Duty sew work done on tow straps. I had drawn out on the straps how the pattern needed to be, "no, no, no Dan states, " "will do good job this way", my mistake should have insisted on my pattern. I pattern it from store bought straps. $28.00 dollars later, first small weight lifting and the stitching starts to unravel. Return the straps, Dan, tells me another $15.00 to do the original pattern of stitching, told him he needed to stand behind his work, I was charged way to much for it anyway. He just picked that figure out of the sky. I lifted his shop, to never return again. By the way, brought my project to Plahn Canvas 500 N. Parker Dr Janesville, they had it done in 3 days, at only $15.00 and did it correctly, because they know what they are doing.

paid to have a zipper replaced in a Harley boot. When I picked the boot up a week later I mentioned that it looked like the original zipper and it appeared that he put the zipper back on track and tried to tell me that he replaced it. It was off the track again the first time i put it on and when I went back he said again that he replaced it. I patiently explained that I paid $40 to replace it, but that it looked like the original zipper was put back on track and not replaced. He again said he did. It is the original zipper in the boot. Will never go there again.

I had suede boots with vinyl heels that were bunged up. He said he would replace the vinyl with leather. I came back to pick them up and all he did was put shoe polish over the vinyl which he got all over the suede. Waste of money. The lady in front of me was not impressed with her repairs, either.

I cant leave an honest response but what I can say is I called the number provided and the person who answered sounded confused as to why I called and said he doesn't repair boots and hung up on me. If that was the owner not great customer service, if not you need to update the phone number provided.

Great place to have leather work done, New soles on shoes or work boots. Replacement of old zippers. Great selection of cowboy & work/construction boots. Prices are reasonable.

At one time Dan did quality resoling on our work boots lately he's using material that is not lasting one work boot only lasted 30 days before it needed to be resolled ,,,very very disappointed needs to start using better quality!!!!!

I had a specialty shoe that needed repair Dan's was able to fix it the same day I called and the repair was done quickly and perfectly! They also have a good selection of quality western boots and work boots as well!
