Very sad to leave. I've had great experiences with my pets there. The doctors have been amazing. I have been a loyal customer and referred people here for over 12 years.
However, there are issues with customer service that I can no longer over look. Their new policy of charging $60 per pet for an appointment if you had any no shows is ridiculous! 1st they decided to create this policy without it being in writing which I protested. When they created this policy there email/text reminder of appointments system was down. No letter or email went out. I hadn't missed an appointment in a couple of years and the one I missed I never received a reminder. I immediately called them when I realized I had it on the wrong day in my calender. It was the same day as the appointment. They said they would discuss it with management about waiving the fee. After a few emails and calls back and forth I was informed it was waived and the appointment was made. We went. We paid etc...no charge in June. I was also told you only pay the $60 per pet the next time you schedule at this point. In there interim they did send a letter out because they agreed that a letter should be sent.
I received a reminder to schedule my dog's next shots and got another message to pay the $60 per pet. I just called and referred back to the previous conversation. I was then informed they don't know why June was not charged. I said it was per our conversation. They informed me the $60 go towards your appointment. I said I understand that but I was not suppose to have to pay this since it was settled the last time so I thought. Then I was told now customers have to pay that deposit indefinitely and not just the one time. Again totally different from what I was told before.
Continuely changing your office and billing policies on customers without proper communication or office personnel giving out the wrong information or a reminder system being conveniently down when you instate this policy is just poor communication and customer service. I would know I have worked in customer service for over 30 years. Just ridiculous and most of all disappointed. We will miss Dr Reed.

Badger vet is a nice clean vet,
BUT,,, Ever since our veterinarian "Steve" passed it seems the other veterinarians or vet tech are cold and distent. They don't stop for even a minute to chat ,ask questions, even introduce themselves.
We still go because it's what we know.

I've been taking my cat to Badger Vet in Janesville for three years now, maybe four. I had been trying to schedule an appointment with almost every other vet office in the area one morning, and every one of them told me they wouldn't be able to see me until the following day or the day after that. When I called Badger Vet, they told me that they'd be able to see me that same day. That was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. Reed was great during my first visit there, and has has been great ever since. All of the other staff have been as well. They also offer boarding for pets, which is great. I won't be going anywhere else for any vet needs. Highly recommend Badger Vet in Janesville.

They saved one of my Huskies Max having severe seizures. He has epilepsy he went through a lot. They seen it immediately gave him medication for the rest of his long life. There’s nothing that meets there level of care… ❤️

Badger Veterinary Hospital is outstanding. We see Dr. Katie Reed and she is fabulous. Our 5 year old collie was very sick and we thought he was near death. Our vet we used at the time would not make time for him and told us to go to an emergency vet. We called Badger and they said to have him there in 30 minutes. Not only did Dr. Reed give him wonderful care and got him back to normal, her follow up calls just showed her passion and care. Needless to say, Badger and Dr. Reed is now our primary vets and we couldn't be more pleased

This clinic has went down hill since the passing of Dr. Servantez. He would be so upset and disappointed with the care you don’t receive from there now. Dr Reed is on some kind of power trip. Can’t even buy prescription dog food unless she’s in to ok it even tho it’s in your charts and they prescribed it. They never call back. They never get you in. They just don’t care anymore. Dr. Servantez was the most compassionate person with a heart of gold. They should take lessons from him. He would call and email on his days off to check up on my dog and they can’t even call back when they are working. They don’t even deserve one star.

Love, love, love Badger Vet !! Our groomer is Bailey and we have had many grooming appointments with all of us being satisfied ! Our Lakeland loves his summer cut, I have recommended this vet and groomer , I think you will be happy too !
