Last June I lost 2 gears in my 2014 ram 2500. I was recommended top gear by a couple people and I wasn’t disappointed. My 48re swap with the full manual valve body is doing great and everyone that gets a ride in it says it shifts great.

I was having an issue where my ram 2500 would go into 4x4 anytime it wanted to. They tracked down the issue, fixed all the wires, works like a dream now!! They always answered the phone, kept open communication, great place to work with 10/10

Man words aren’t enough!!! It’s November 17th freezing outside. My roofers truck broke down these guys got trucks galore outside their shop all Cummins. We got a pump issue so they came out in a matter of minutes plugged the truck in, scanned it. Ran to their shop looked at the data pulled from the truck and sending unit grabbed a fuse and tools and got us up and running. They didn’t know me from Adam and were the coolest bunch of dudes and you could ask for to work on your truck or car. Polite professional and very knowledgeable. What more can you ask for they didn’t even know us and helped us out in a matter of minutes came to the home owners house we are at. Happy holidays to your guys family and the shop as well. Keep up the work you guys will be seeing my Cummins if ever there’s a problem. Or just new upgrades.Services: Tires

02 Tahoe Transmission went out Tuesday morning. Top Gear Performance had it on the rack Wednesday midday. And I picked up my truck Friday Afternoon. Rebuilt transmission, Cooler lines, and mount. I was charged Respectfully, for the work that was done, very reasonable, Along with a great warranty.Their service, Timing, And Knowledge, Is impeccable! And professional! Don’t get me wrong.Branden is a good guy. I feel he’s very genuine and at heart he’s a great guy.But my truck sat for over 7 months with an electrical issue that did not get fixed.I’ve paid top gear over 8000$ to have my truck running and it never got fixed. I ended up towing the truck out of the shop still broken. Missing parts and stuff not returned.The first time around the truck has 2 billstein shocks go missingAfter I picked the truck back up. It’s missing some hardware. Stuff disconnected and laying all over.My bully dog is also missing. I’ve asked 4 times to have my stuff returned with no luck.Lessons learned.Be cautious who you let touch your stuff.Multiple shops have turned me away because top gear touched it first.Services: Electrical

Add $1000 to their quote and expect phone calls about them wanting to work on other parts of your vehicle. Replaced and charged for parts without confirming okay to do so. Ordered the wrong parts to start then charged for them. My vehicle no longer shifts into park, missing parts in vehicle where they weren't working. When putting interior back together didn't take the time to align the plastics back up or secure them in place. Didn't clear the check engine light after transmission work complete. Replaced universal joint because they had taken the original out to work on transmission. Replaced rear main seal because they replaced the u-joint.Plus side A/C is ice cold, transmission work was completed ahead of schedule (probably why I have issues)Would not recommend using them if your on a budget or don't have a team of mechanics to check their work when they are done.Services: Transmission

Have had them build multiple type of trans in multiple types of trucks! Let me tell ya wow! I beat my trucks more then you think you could possibly beat a truck. Trans from other shops don’t last more then 20k miles for a “built” trans. This place is the only place i’ve found that has been able to get a trans to hold up to the abuse I give these trucks. Their builder nate is the best in the business even picked my truck up from my house!Service: Transmission
