I give Halvorso’s Auto Center a 5 star review!! Here is why: I was staying at the Lumbermans Inn for a horse sleigh event on January 12, 2025. I knew the temps would drop in the 20 below zero range that night so I brought an extension cord to plug in my truck. However, early Sunday morning my truck did not start. I found Halvorson's Auto Center through a web search on my phone and called Jim to come and jump my truck. He said a jump would not help the diesel and it needed to warm up first. He said not to worry and he would work with me to figure this out, and he did. He walked me through some troubleshooting with the outlet, offering to bring a longer extension cord to reach another outlet, and following through until my truck started. Being from out of town, it was so nice to have someone there to help me out!

My wife and I were visiting over the 4th of July weekend when I noticed a screw in my wife's Bronco. We were closest to Iron River and saw that Halvorson Auto got really great reviews so we took a chance.
They were all booked up for the day but said that they could squeeze us in since we were in a bind. Amazing work and very efficient! Thank you for addressing our travel emergency Halvorson Auto!!!

First off i have never left a review for anything before. We are in town for a sxs trip. Made a stupid mistake with my truck. Halvorson auto went out of his way to help me out and get my truck back to me asap. Felt like the cost was fair for the fast service I recieved. Great service experience I had.

Great experience with Halvorson's! Fixed our flat tire on a Saturday morning after being out working all night. Great, friendly service and would recommend.

We were in a tight spot,brakes went out. Couldn't drive the vehicle and had to get home. Called halvorson and explained the problem. He was able to help us. He fixed the brakes at a very reasonable price. I will always recommend him.

When your in the Northwoods and have an issue with your vehicle this is the place to go. Called and got me right in with a screw in my tire had me in and out during the deer hunt in less than half hour.

Great job towing our stranded truck from a very difficult road driveway. Even had a guy up top on flatbed pushing branches away while it was raining too. Outstanding and quick service!

Memorial Day and I got stuck with a flat tire and no one open to help me. I only had a donut for a spare and a 4.5 hour drive. I was desperate and Thank God James answered the phone and agreed to help me out on a day when he was closed! He could have charged me 10x the going rate but he didn’t.
