Shari is fantastic to work with! She is very knowledgable and does a fantastic job of customizing everything! As a Neuro-Structural Chiropractor, I've had patients work with her and reach new levels of health they didn't know they could! Just give her a call or stop by, you won't regret it!

This little hidden gem has been my lifeline! Even though it is by FAR the cleanest, most inviting and incredibly well appointed gym with everything you need; it is the OWNER, Shari, that makes ALL the difference in the world. In addition to being a member, I also attend 2 of her Bootcamps per week. Never have I worked so hard and had so much FUN at the same time! No two workouts are ever the same, you NEVER get bored. But the best part is the people...they are REAL. Shari makes everyone feel so welcome and provides alternative 'moves' to accommodate everyone (even those with knee injuries, wrist surgeries, etc). We work hard, we sweat...we LAUGH and get each other through it with Shari's motivation. BEST therapy EVER. It's a great way to start the day (7:15 AM) or catch the evening class at 5:15 PM!

Shari is so great! She keeps you motivated, checks in on you when you have gone missing for too long and provides modification suggestions when needed. The gym is clean and a very inviting place to workout in!

I've belonged to many gyms over the years and Strength Fitness is the best hands down. There is a wide range of equipment and training options that fit my schedule and needs. I have also had tremendous success training with Shari. EVERY workout is different and she tailors the exercises to my needs. Her knowledge and experience with fitness and nutrition have helped me lose weight and gain strength to feel and look my best.

It is a fantastic establishment. It is spacious, clean and takes all the necessary precautions for your safety during these fun filled times. The shear energy and knowledge of the place and owner is addicting.

I have enjoyed using this gym and working with it's owner, Shari, for about the last two years. I second what other reviewers have said -- it is not crowded at all. Sometimes during the midday I am the only person there! It is exceptionally clean, much cleaner than other gyms I have used. I find Shari to be very pleasant and helpful.I came to this gym after leaving a larger, more populated gym in St. Paul. Upon leaving that gym, I was confronted with the same problem as one of the other reviewers below -- the requirement that I give 30 days written notice of my intent to cancel my membership. I can not understand why that requirement exists, but it must be common in the industry. I didn't like it when I ran into it, but that does not detract from the quality of that St. Paul gym, which I rated very highly despite the 30-day rule. There are some gyms that are pretty social places, where people talk to you whether you want it or not. I have heard from some young women that they find those places bordering on a "meat market." Strength in North Hudson is just the opposite -- nobody bothers you unless you initiate the conversation.I really like Strength, and I have never encountered any problems with Shari or any of the other members.

A gym itself is a building, a structure a place to workout for whatever your goals are for you. What makes this gym far superior to other gyms is because of Shari. She not only is the gym owner but a personal trainer. She's been mine for over a year or more. When I am there training it's like a family is working out. It's not because it's in North Hudson and smaller vs the twin cities its because of how Shari cares for all her members. You just have a different feeling there which is one of community and support. The cost of paying for training or a monthly membership doesn't even come close to what it costs if you have doctor visits. I also buy on a regular basis products from IDLIFE. The combination of training, better nutrition and supplements is something I will always invest in because it's for my health and better well being.Shari is beyond instrumental in changing my life for the better. She is on this journey with me and I have never felt like just a paying customer. I have felt cared for, supported and above all blessed to call her my friend.I am so thankful a mutual friend put us together for training; my life changed for the better since we met.If you're not a member yet. Ask yourself why not. Then drive on over to North Hudson and start on your new journey; you won't regret it.Take care and best wishesDeb Schmidt

If Karen owned a gym, this would be it.I am not one to usually write a review but my negative experience at strength fitness gym has prompted me to take a few minutes and warn other young adults to avoid this business. I would highly suggest against attending this gym due to the unprofessional and rude manor of the gym's business owner, Shari. The environment itself is very good. However, the entire environment completely shifts when Shari enters the room. If you do decide to attend this gym, be prepared for an owner who constantly asks if you wiped down everything you touch(even after multiple weeks of routinely following this rule). Be prepared for a barrage of snarky remarks and rude comments regarding rules that either you don’t recall or were never explicitly told existed. My girlfriend and I were looking for a local gym to join for a couple of months before we headed off to college once gyms began to reopen this summer. We personally met with Shari and explained that we were looking for a two-month membership before leaving for school this August and asked whether such a short term membership was possible. Shari was pleased to have us join the gym, said that two months would be no problem, and got us all set with our key fobs and payment information. Unfortunately, now that I am leaving for college, Shari is hiding behind the fine print of her membership paperwork and choosing not to remember our very clear conversation about the two-month nature of our membership. Our accounts have both been billed for a third month and despite a personal conversation this afternoon in which we both apologized for not providing a ‘written’ notice as required in the fine print, and also offering to apply this additional month of payment towards a possible membership next summer, Shari shook her head at us and simply said ‘No refunds, I am trying to run a business here.’ In doing so, she essentially forced us to pay $70 for a month long extra membership in which we were physically incapable of attending the gym. We both feel that we have been scammed for our money and have honestly believed that she just wanted us gone. My girlfriend and I very clearly gave Shari an in-person 60-day notice of our intent to leave the gym this August when we joined the gym in mid-June and I find it completely dishonest and disrespectful that she will not honor a conversation that she certainly knows occurred at the start of our membership. As a small business owner myself, these difficult times during the Covid-19 pandemic have forced me to step up my customer service and make sure that my clients are both satisfied and appreciated. I sincerely hope that other gym owners in this region treat young adults with more respect and appreciation than Shari has demonstrated. I plan to take my business elsewhere when I return from college and would encourage others to do the same.
