I have nothing but great things to say about Midwest Centers for Movement . My 8 year old son joined this past summer and we felt welcome from day one by the instructors, parents, and other kids. There is a wide variety of ages and backgrounds which is great because the kids work together and learn from each other. More experienced kids become leaders and are great role models for the newer kids. Kids learn important life skills including: discipline, respect, confidence, team work, and self defense all while having a fun time. This program teaches kids to work hard to achieve goals and to not give up when obstacles get in their way. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience. They are great with kids and challenge them in ways that will help them grow. MCFM has not only been a great experience for my son, but has also become a great investment because these skills are going to serve purpose throughout the rest of his life.

MCFM is absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research before picking a spot for my son. I am so happy that I picked MCFM. The owner took the time to meet me and talk over the options and benefits of starting my son in classes. He has been wonderful to deal with and works with families. I am so happy we picked here. My son loves how welcomed we are and how the students also teach other students! This class is definitely long term for us and I am so grateful to be apart of the MCFM family!

MCFM is a fantastic dojo teaching multiple disciplines to both kids and adults. There is a positive family-like atmosphere where students and instructors alike train together to better themselves. The instructors possess technical aptitude coupled with patience, discipline, and a genuine desire to see the students grow not only in martial technique but also as individuals. True warriorship. Highly recommended!

We love MCFM. The lessons our child has learned around respect and setting and working towards goals as well as building self confidence have been amazing. Mike and all the instructors are awesome. We love the multi age classes--our child has the opportunity to learn from other students and also help younger ones. Highly recommend!

Great school for learning multiple disciplines in Martial Arts. The programs offer confidence, self defense, and fitness. The new location makes it easily accessible and the ability to also have access to a full array of fitness equipment and training.

This place is all around awesome. I have been there many times both to train and for competitions. An extremely friendly atmosphere with some of the best instruction around. Michael Ellefson is one of the best coaches you could ask for whether you are looking to compete or just for recreation. Check them out and you will thank yourself later!

Mike (Elle) Ellefson is a great coach! He's got great Jiu-Jitsu Tech, he's a fun, encouraging guy that will help you achieve whatever your martial arts goals. Whether for fun and recreation or if you are interested in competition, he and is coaches will get you there! I would also recommend seminars with him as well, he brings that same fun positive experience for the students. Fabio Morescalchi Head Coach for The Minnesot Kali Group.
