Recently switched to County Market Pharmacy from the other pharmacy change in town. Pharmacy staff are very friendly service with staff that are very willing to help solve problems and actually provide information to solve the issue. Pricing is cheaper and more consistent too.

Surprising knowledgeable and friendly service. Most drugs are in stock. Why not get your prescriptions filled here, then get a doughnut or pack of sushi?

Poinsettias everywhere make this store feel very festive! There are lots of holiday candies baked goods, treats, flowers ect for the Christmas season. I picked up some holiday candies as well as a poinsettia along with my regular grocery shopping. County Market is definitely lifting the mood right now!

I was grocery shopping and decided to grab some meats for dinner. County Market has the best rotisserie chicken in our opinion and I love having something easy to grab thats so versatile. One chicken is enough to feed our family of four, with a bit leftover to throw into soups, salads or other recipes. Sometimes I grab a bunch of their fried chicken legs for my son because he likes those a lot. This shopping trip I did treat him to some and as always he devoured them (16 yr old boy!). I decided to try the Swedish Meatballs they have in the deli, and I will purchase those again in the future. The meatballs were very tender, and the gravy well seasoned and creamy.

I recently bought groceries at County Market in Hudson, including Deli fried chicken. I am very disappointed in almost all of the products I bought. I bought a Breadsmith Boule (photo). It looked delicious; it was like cutting and eating a soccer ball. I bought boneless, skinless chicken thighs for a dish I was cooking. The thighs looked lovely in the package (photo) but when unrolled were all fat and tendons, with little meat (photo). When cooked, the small pieces I was able to cut off were VERY tough. You could only deep-fry or grill-to-char these thighs to get rid of these tendons and fat, but do you want to eat that? I bought Deli fried chicken, 8 pcs $6.99 on Special. I got them home and took them out of the bag right away; a lot of the breading was missing (photo). Don't sell the pieces without breading, they are dried out! I put them in the oven on a rack to drain the oil, 4 pieces at a time. I got 3+ tablespoons of dark, viscous oil from each batch of chicken. Disgusting. The fryer oil at County Market needs to be changed and the chicken fried at a higher heat. It had an old oil taste and was greasy. I had cut fried chicken from my diet for a year and felt better, but desired some before I went out of town. Thank you for killing my desire for fried chicken, and actually any fried food. I used to buy pea protein milk here, two bottles at a time. Two different brands. Both have been discontinued at County Market, so I had to buy coconut milk as I was in a pinch. I now normally buy the pea protein at Kowalski's in Woodbury or Stillwater. I don't know why CM got rid of it as I usually cleaned out the shelf. It sold! FYI neither brand was actually discontinued, you can still buy both at Publix in Georgia and Florida (and one of them at Kowalski's). I guess Super Valu thinks the people in Hudson are too unsophisticated to want better products. I bought two tote bags of apples: Honeycrisp (on Special) and Sweet Tango. I suspect the prices are higher than they should be, but I wanted fresh apples. The Honeycrisp are a little mushy... are they last year's? Check-out: what a joke. There were lines of 4-5 people for each check-out with a human. The self-checkout was busy too with a waiting line. Most of the machines had flashing lights and were waiting for the attendant. Maybe they should install machines that actually work... what a concept. The machine I went to malfunctioned immediately when it started telling me to put back what I had removed from the scanned area; I hadn't touched anything on the scanned side. Second item I scanned wouldn't scan and the machine printed messages telling me to keep scanning. The light was flashing. I turned around and waited for the attendant. She was helping somebody else, and those people did not buy the item that caused their problems. I waited a few minutes but kept scanning. Then the attendant came over to me and I held out the offending item to her before she got to my machine. I proceeded to get a lecture on exactly where I should put the item when it wouldn't scan. By that time I had another item that wouldn't scan. While being scolded, she grudgingly keyed in the two items. One item was keyed in wrong; I discovered that when I got home (I paid the correct price though). OMG I will stop by at odd times in the early morning or later in the evening if I absolutely have to...the experience here is just BAD. About all I can recommend buying here is the Bubly brand carbonated water when it is on sale.

Disappointed in this visit as I have been the last few months. This is the only grocery store that is local that would have what you’d want in one visit, or you’d hope that was the case- (Aldi has certain things, as does Fresh and Natural but I still have to go elsewhere to get every item). The price gauging here is real. $12 for disposable masks @10 count- 150 online for $20. I compared and they are structurally the same. Cases of water up $2 a case. Seasonings empty and then I realized they expanded their shelf space and are selling their own brand in containers that are huge bottles a person would need a lifetime to go through. Meat, and other items way beyond what they used to be. It’s clear that they are taking advantage of being the main dog in this town.

The chicken dinner was not as good this visit. We got the 8 piece bucket of chicken and added on 4 more drummies. The chicken had an old oil taste. The Mac n cheese we got for one side had mushy pasta, and the mashed potatoes weren’t creamy like they usually are. The guy at the counter was friendly, and seemed happy to wait on me.

They are not friendly! You can stand at counter for minutes without being greeted and the employees are standing right there. And then when they do greet you, they act like customers are an annoyance to them. I'm going to take my business elsewhere. As far as the grocery employees, they are fantastic!!
