My 5 year old son has been at this bear buddies since he was a baby and we couldn't be more grateful for the staff there! The entire staff is amazing and have always been supportive, kind and caring. I always receive great communication from everyone and you can tell the staff genuinely care about the kids.
My 5 year old was struggling this year with 4K and behaviors/sensory issues. Bear buddies staff(including directors) worked patiently with him and helped give him extra attention. I ended up having an IEP done on him which showed autism. Cheyanne was there in the IEP meeting and supported me afterwards when I was upset. They have gone above and beyond to help me and my children and I'm forever grateful! Thank you Bear Buddies staff!
I highly recommend this daycare!

I have had four kids in the care of Bear Buddies since 2019 and I can't speak more highly of them. They treat me and my children like we are family. I am a healthcare worker that had to continue to work during COVID and they bent over backwards to provide ongoing care during a challenging time. They are timely and transparent in their communication whenever I have a question or concern. Thank you, Bear Buddies!

Our daughter loves it here. The teachers are wonderful. They really connect with the kids, and keep them busy and learning all week.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! I was in need of care and found them online with openings. (This was awhile ago) and we were very happy at first with the teachers and facility…but very quickly things took a turn for the worst. I was getting calls nearly every day that I had to pick up my son for one excuse or another. Once it was because my son had gotten into cleaning supplies! And he got a written warning from the care staff and put in the office with the director. How in the world does a child get ahold of cleaning supplies in a supposedly safe and secure facility?! And why was my child and not the teacher being blamed?! Other little things would send him home too. Climbing in windows, not listening, or the teachers “about to quit because of his behaviors” (directors words) and none of which were outside the norm for most 3/4yr olds. Cherry on the cake was the day I had to pick him up because he wasn’t feeling well, not only overheard one of the teachers asking if they sent enough kids home for state inspection but also was told by my son that he was forced to drink bad tasting milk at his lunch time. Unbelievable! I about lost my job because of this center and their inability to handle their business. And I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

We've been bringing our two little ones for over three years now and we couldn't be happier. Our children absolutely love coming to Bear Buddies. Their playground and facilities are always clean bright and organized. They continuously change around play stations keeping things new and exciting. Last month the amazing teachers helped throw my son the most wonderful birthday party. He is still talking about his special day. There have a been a few days Ive had to convince them to leave because they are having so much fun outside. Extra perk we didn't think of when enrolling all the big trucks! My son spends a good hour every day waving to the semi trucks that pass by.

Being a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my baby at daycare and going back to work. After the first day I immediately felt comfortable. My daughter loves her teachers and always has a smile on her little face when I pick her up. Everyone is kind and caring, they treat my daughter very well.

We were a little hesitant to start here as someone at one of their other centers had just broken a child’s leg but there were no other openings in Hudson. We heard from several neighbors that they’d heard bad things but Jan the infant teacher was so good we overlooked the other things. We were there about a year and it was ok, never great. Never loved the building or the administration but again there were a couple great teachers. It started to come to a head when we were transitioning to another room, literally every day that he spent the afternoon in the new room our son came home with a bite a diaper rash or both. We understand these things happen but it was remarkably consistent. The final straw was when we got a call at work one day at 10 am that we needed to come get him because he was not scheduled. We were on 4 days a week and our schedule had to rotate as per their policies. We submitted our schedule by responding to an email every 2 weeks. Apparently we had not submitted schedule for that week as we had not received the email we had been receiving. No one informed us the day before or the week before that they didn’t have our schedule, just that we had to get him that day. I asked to speak to the owner which was a mistake. In 5 minutes of taking to the owner she said “according to the handbook you signed” no less than 4 times, and despite the fact that we’d literally never submitted our schedule in writing in a year the way the handbooks says, and after I “threatened” (her words) to look at another center she said we were kicked out and to come get our kid. After I said I would and would be leaving reviews she threatened to sue me for libel, luckily it’s not libel if it’s factual. I rushed to the center as quick as I could, after the way I was talked to I was worried to leave my son there for another moment. The owner krista had a wait list and threw us to the curb when we had one complaint because she didn’t need us. Luckily we were able to find another center in Woodbury for 150 bucks more per week but if we couldn’t afford that one of us would have probably lost a job just becuase she got mad over the phone. I would never send my kid here knowing what I know now and many of the positive google and fb reviews are current and former staff.

My twin daughters enjoy going to daycare. The teachers and staff are wonderful. My girls learned so much from bear buddies. I like the fact that its structured schedule and they do curriculum there. Every day they get to learn and explore new things in a organized and clean enviroment. Also love that the rooms are open and when my kids get older and move to a different room they already know the teachers which makes a smooth transition.

Bear Buddies has a very warm family atmosphere. The staff and directors work hard to ensure that the children are safe, healthy, loved, and well educated. They have been a part of my (and my children's) life for 11 years and I wouldn't change a thing!

Extremely rude to me and my family and refused to accept the fact that I worked without pay.
