My wife had an appointment today that she paid $20 to hold which was fine. She was running a few minute late for it and called ahead to let them know that, they informed her that the scheduled gal could not accommodate her but can get another lady to take her. No problem. When it came time to pay ($40 for the appointment) she was told that it would be another $20 for the missed 1st appointment and a full $40 for the second. So in the end she paid $80 for 1 $40 appointment. This is not a way to gain loyal customers. My wife was prepared to have Botox and several other services that BB provides but unfortunately this will not happen now. Things happen in life and sometimes people are a little late, I get that but come on people have some compassion. All I see is greed so please beware of this business. Don’t be late.

I was in town for a wedding over Memorial Day Weekend and booked an appointment for makeup and hair at BB. Please note, I did call and speak with someone at BB who said they would pass my feedback along to Brooke and then get back to me. I haven't heard a word since.
While I did like my makeup, the woman doing it never asked for what my preference was or any sort of style I preferred. I sat down and she immediately started doing my makeup saying she was a bit rushed for time. I had showered that morning and my hair in the back of my head was still a bit damp, particularly around my neck. She proceeded to tell me that BB doesn't have a single blowdryer in the entire building because they only do dry styles. I thought that seemed odd since that's one of the most basic tools to have on hand to do hair. Also, when I had initially called, Brooke had asked what style I wanted my hair done in and I said a low pony or bun and she didn't mention anything about my hair being completely dry OR I would've absolutely shown up to my appointment like that. Anyways, the stylist acted totally irritated that she then had to call and ask specific permission to use the one blowdryer they had on hand in the entire building, BUT the kicker was she would need to charge me an extra $50 for a blowout on top of the charge to style my hair. She didn't give me a blowout, she used the blowdryer for maybe 4-5 min but she knew she could get away with charging me an EXTRA $50!!! because I was on my way to a wedding. Mind you, I live in Scottsdale and have gotten blowouts from the top salons here and her running her fingers through my hair for 4 minutes and charging $50 doesn't qualify as anything remotely close to a "blowout." Then she started putting ringlet curls in my hair. I asked twice if her plan was to then pull it back into a low pony or bun since that was the style I was looking for with my dress and she told me "no" and that she wanted to highlight my curls.
I'm disappointed that I was charged an extra $50 and that I did the right thing and tried to call the salon before leaving a review but never heard a word back.

I went for a lash lift and tint and was told not to get them wet for two days. It was really hard because my eyes were super sticky. They looked okay immediately after the appointment but the next day they were just awful. My lashes are destroyed and I tried waiting to see if they would lose the curl but they didn’t and they feel very damaged. I can’t even wear mascara because a big chunk of my eyelashes in the middle are too messed up.

Ive been getting my eyebrows microbladed for over a year by brooke and I love them! Also get a lot of compliments she is great!

My visit went well! Wendy did foils in my hair. Wendy was a lot of fun to chat with. She is very genuine. The studio was bright, sparkly, and fun! I'm eager to see Wendy again for more hair appointments.

The business she has built is amazing.... Her place is astonishing and her employees are great!!! Couldn't have asked for a better place with better people to be treated by!!! Highly recommended to any ladies that want to feel good about themselves while getting it done by wonderful ladies ?

I highly recommend booking and paying for a bridal trial before scheduling and giving down payments for wedding party faces! I was very discouraged an hour after leaving BB and seeing my makeup literally melting off my face. I called and expressed my concerns with the wear and my skin type. I was told it was likely some of my routine products and they gave me great feedback on things to avoid for day of! I booked another trial (this one I had to pay for), I walked out feeling good! The makeup was not melting! But it was now overly powdered & really showed when photographed just 40 minutes after it was put on. You are not able to be refunded for your down payments which was a huge bummer: with bridal makeup and 4 bridal party faces, in addition to the second bridal trial redo, I’m out a little over 200 bucks and have panicked and spent a ton more money on new makeup coupled with hours of YouTube videos to hopefully do my own okay ?I will absolutely say the makeup itself was very pretty! Just way way way too heavy & not practical for more than an hours wear. No contact with others allowed, which just doesn’t work for a wedding.

I used BB Spa for my wedding hair & make up and Brooke & Wendy did SUCH a great job!!! Everyone looked SO good and all loved their hair and make up. They were fun to have in our bridal suite getting ready, did an amazing job and were so efficient! We had 11 people to get through in a few hours and they went so quickly while also doing a great job. I would definitely recommend!!Service: Bridal makeup

I had a lash lift and tint done. The girl who did it was very kind but the lift and tint was a hot mess. I have had many lifts and tints in the past before I moved to the area and never had issues like I had. I left with glue on my lashes and lids, straight lashes, but they were tinted. I waited the full 48 hours to get them wet which was difficult with the sticky glue still on my lashes and lids and there is no difference from when I went in. I’ve had this service done before else, but wouldn’t recommend BB.
I’ve attached a picture of what my lashes looked like immediately after leaving the appointment. The dark line on my lash line is from tint mixed up with the glue that left a stain.

Lackluster services at best! My wife and I decided to gift our daughter with private makeup lessons from here. This place had a lot of rave reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Should have looked around more because the owner could only give us one style of makeup. I went on her site and saw it is the same colors on different ladies. My daughter did not like the heavy eyemakeup because she's not a rocker chick type. The owner was pressuring us to purchase the makeup which is repackaged from a wholesaler. (I used to work in collectibles. You can buy these products in bulk for a couple bucks a pop and upcharge 500%+ for a profit and cheap product.) It was also odd that most of the marketing materials and content features the owner and not the customers who should always come first. They are the reason why your open afterall!*Update-It looks like my wife booked for the makeup application instead. But irregardless, this is not how you should treat teens or families. The cattiness behind the toxic positivity is very manipulative!!!Service: Private makeup lessons
