Mom mother is 79 and voluteers and they’re requiring her to get a flue shot. Does anybody trust the government after Covid and how they lied to us??? What happened to Covid? Did that just go away all of a sudden??? They’re in bed with big pharama.

Huge Kudos to the entire staff that saw me through my procedure. Gracey, R.N. was excellent, Naomi (Who ya gonna call?) was superb, Jenny, C.S.A was awesome, Angie and Sarah (CRNA & RN) were wonderful. No more adjectives, they were all great.

Been in a few hospitals in my lifetime , from the time I entered the emergency room till the time I left the ICU The care that I received from my nurses ,Sandy, Halay and the doctors was second to none.

If I could give 0 stars I would. THIS PLACE IS FILTHY!!!!!!My recent visit to the hospital in Hartford was deeply disappointing and concerning to say the least.Upon arrival, I encountered Willow at the front desk, who was indeed sweet and efficient. However, any sense of promise quickly dissipated upon entering the triage room.As I waited for medical attention, I couldn't help but notice the appalling state of cleanliness—or rather, the lack thereof. The floor was littered with medical wrappers, blood splatters, and what appeared to be layers of dirt and mud. There was some sort of liquid on the patient table and Cabinets, walls, and doors looked neglected, as if they hadn't seen a proper cleaning in years. Even the surfaces, including the patient chair, were visibly grimy. It was an environment that instilled more anxiety than assurance and VERY unsterile. When Dr. Bashor finally arrived, his demeanor only added to my distress. Despite my serious symptoms—coughing up blood and suffering from influenza B and a severe ear infection—his bedside manner was cold and dismissive. He seemed indifferent to my discomfort and offered no words of empathy or support.Even during the discharge process, there was a notable absence of basic courtesy. Dr. Bashor simply informed me that someone would bring the discharge papers, upon his exit of the room I asked if I would go in the waiting room to wait for my papers and he said “sure” and left without a word of encouragement or concern for my well-being. He didn’t even simply say BYE!!!!!Overall, my experience at this hospital left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned for the standards of care provided. When I arrived home, I looked at my discharge papers there was a note on them stating my blood pressure was high, WHY WAS THIS NOT COMMUNICATED TO ME?! It is my hope that these issues are addressed promptly for the sake of future patients. When you go to the ER you expect to get treatment to relieve whatever is bothering you and you expect to be treated with respect and Dr. Bashor was the worst! I did NOT receive adequate care or receive respect! It was a waste of time and gave me more anxiety about my health than anything not to mention, I’m sure there will be an astronomical bill coming for me sitting in the dirty bodily fluid filled TRIAGE ROOM.Unless you are having a life threatening emergency for your own health and safety find a new location this place should be SHUT DOWN! There is a reason I have heard multiple times that you only go to the Hartford Hospital to die.

Went to ER in January of last year due to chest pains at 4 am. I was kept in the ER for monitoring, tests, and meds. After nearly 2 hours, I had to use the restroom on the ER floor. It was filthy. There was urine and feces on the toilet and floor. I had to roll my IV stand over it. Waste basket was overflowing. It was awful.Eventually, I was admitted. I was so happy to get out of there and into a room. That being said...the nurses on the room floor were absolutely amazing. SO very kind, attentive and reassuring. The doctor who came in after being admitted was equally attentive. Did not rush through answering my questions.Food was mediocre. I realize it is hospital food...but lettuce had brown leaves and fresh fruit was mushy...unable to eat.In summary, care was GREAT. ER facilities poor, food fair...
