“Yes they have a lot of food and things but they are way over priced. My friend uses the Western Union from them and they charge for the trans action. He says anywhere else he goes they don't charge him anything when he receives his money.”

They have quite a bit of wine for a neighborhood store. I’m sure even the discerning wine enthusiast would be satisfied with the options.
Lots of great craft beer in the store. Plus, they have all the standard domestic options.
The liquor selection is good. It’s not the most expensive but it’s curated well. The pricing is better than you would normally anticipate at a small store. Definitely worth a stop.”

“Most grocery stores vary some but not too much. But Festival has a real leg up on a lot of offerings. Their deli and ready to eat stuff is fantastic, and I've always found their produce and meat to be really a cut above as well”

“I live in the suburbs but work a block away from this store and I would come here during my breaks when I needed a vape. I will only ever come here to buy vapes!! And I wanna express why.I'm picky and some times I need to browse a bit. At any other store I am haggled and having unwarranted recommendations on brands and flavors that are unrelated to what I'm looking for and if I buy something they try to hustle me to buy more.But this place is different.I believe he's the owner, but he's always really welcoming, and he will let me look as long as I need to. and if he asks what Im looking for he will give me realistic recommendations. recently, he offered to put in an order for what I was looking for that I was having a hard time finding at any store! I will only come here because of this service. Even though it's far from where I live this small detail alone makes such a difference in my experience.”

They don't even care about getting anything,they wanna see sal . What made me come leave a review after all the years is one of my boys ,who s 10 was having a really bad day and was really down .I offered to take him to the store and he could get whatever he wanted . Nah he said ,then I told him I'd take him to Sal's and ok sure he says . By the time we left he was happy and smiling and laughing again and everything was all good again. Sal is the best !!”

“The Avenue Liquor and Convenience store is great. Prices are consistently and competitively low and they've got a huge selection. I've been a consistent customer for about 4 years and have no reason to go elsewhere. Every employee I've dealt with there has been professional and friendly, most of all Jay.
Jay runs both shops and is the man. One of those truly genuine, caring, kind people that you meet very seldomly. Honestly, Jay is the reason I keep coming back to the place! Without him, I'd be going somewhere closer to where I live.

“They have an absolutely fantastic assortment of wine, beer, spirits, condiments for cocktails, supplies for a party, and much more! I was extremely impressed by the assortment of everything. It’s not often you have this big of a choice! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well! Excellent, excellent store worth the extra drive! Also, the prices are fantastic. My normal beer for a 12 pack was $3.50 cheaper there,than anywhere else! Wine too!”
