On Saturday May 18th, 2024
I went on my normal shopping with my fam.
There was only one employee on duty.
An older man with medical problems.
The store was crowded and very busy.
He was tired, stressed, and in deep despair.
He needed a break.
Food, water, and probably a bathroom break.
He couldn't take a break. He couldn't eat or drink.
He was very stressed and no one wanted to come in and help.
The manager did not care as we all heard the call between them.
I give this particular store a very poor review due to the management, and lack of care for their employees.

This store is dirty and has an odor, like something has been urinating on boxes.
Horrendous experience to say the least. A portly caucasian male employee was on the phone screaming at "Marvin". Apparently Marvin is taking advantage of him, scheduling him more than other unreliable employees and isn't taking him seriously. He absolutely loathes working for this company and dealing with Marvin.
Maybe Marvin is a manager or something else; I don't know what their title is. What I do know is that he was GOING OFF on Marvin and airing out the other employees personal business. After hanging up the phone, because he was "using too many minutes", he yells expletives.
It was awkward and you could hear the conversation throughout the entire store.
Also, his interactions with customers was disgustingly reprehensible. An elderly caucasian woman entered and wanted to return a product. He yells, "I'm not accepting THAT. What's wrong with you people always wanting to return things."
Then another young caucasian employee comes up to work the register. He's yelling at her about how awful it is working there, company culture and what he doesn't like about different employees. She looked absolutely uncomfortable.
Definitely won't be coming back to this location.

Today I encountered the RUDEST employee I have ever come across in my life at The Dollar Tree in Hales Corners! He is a middle aged white guy with unkept brown hair. Besides talking so rudely to me, he kept pulling his phone out of his pocket to check while waiting on customers. Because of the way he spoke to me (RUDELY!), I will not be returning to that Dollar Tree and I have been a regular customer there for many years. Bring back the sweet elderly lady!!!!

HORRIBLE STORE! The cashier ( older white male , he is heavy set ) publicly embarrassed me by asking me if I had money on my card ?! Cashier also made comment about me being slow and making other customer wait when he would ask me how to do his job?! Absolutely insane, I am never going back! Ever.

Needed 3 things went into the store. Totally mobbed to employees just to employees. Managers called in other employees not showing up broke my heart...... The older gentleman said please bear with me. I'll do the best that I cand and I apologize that it's just me. Where the hell is corporate? How dare them do that to these people at the store? It's Christmas..... They're always so kind and friendly in there. But I have never, ever seen a manager lift a finger. So to the young lady with all the different colors in her hair and the elderly gentleman behind the cashier Bravo to the both of you for handling the situation the way you did Merry Christmas. And corporate needs to learn how to handle their stores.

Most rude employees ever. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but a heavyset older white male said, "I don't want to be bothered with you people." I'm not sure if it was my race (African American) or what, but I told my husband and he said the same man said to him, "Go stop in the city," whatever that means! Either way to avoid trouble or an uncomfortable treatment I will not be returning to spend a single dollar!!!!

My daughter and I were in the store yesterday. We had the privilege of being checked out by a very attentive and customer oriented gentleman by the name of Scott. It was a pleasure and we will return to this store because of him. We left the store smiling.

I am a past employee. Dollar tree is the worst place to work. We didn''t have a managet so I worked as manager and merchandise Manager. I worked when needed. I was told I would get the Manager position. I came into work one day and they told me we had a new Manager named Marvin. The worst Manager ever. Never showed up on time. Treats people like they are children. Sits in the office the whole shift. I put in for a transfer. Waited for a schedule. Than was told I was fired for no call no show when I never received a schedule. The DM Steve never liked me and that was his way of getting me out of the company. It was the best thing he could do. I now have a job I love where I'm treated with respect.

Best customer service you can get. Store closes at 8pm on Sunday and we arrived at 8.01. After seeing the closing hours we got back in the car. The employee saw us leaving, came outside, and asked us to get in and finish our shopping. Very happy with their service.

Alright, so, to preface this, I work customer service aswell. I walked into the store around 8:50 on a Saturday, I was unaware they close at 9:00. Had I known they closed at 9 I would've not gone. Either way, I entered the store and the first thing I hear was not a welcome or a hello, it was a groan of disappointment. He said 'uh oh.'Naturally I was confused and he goes; "Are you aware we close in like 2 minutes?" So we left.First off, they closed in 10 minutes, second off you're still supposed to let me buy things until you close. Or atleast lock the door..On top of that I would've only take like a minute to get my stuff. Now I get it, getting customers when you're about to close, isn't fun. But you still serve them.He was rude, and they weren't doing anything, they were standing around doing nothing.Terrible, genuinely.

A compact Dollar Tree where most items are $1.25.
