I took her to Althea's for a proper fitting and alterations. Althea was super nice, and very knowledgeable, and surprisingly reasonable in pricing. My wife is so happy and tells me the new bras are much more comfortable, and even helped relieve some of her back pain. She couldn't believe the difference.
Any woman in Milwaukee that has difficulty finding garments that fit, should see Althea. You'll be glad you did.”

“I feel like Sierras are a hit or miss for me. When I find something here, it's usually a great deal. In general, their clothes and bags are plain (understandae considering their target consumers) but quite pretty. I actually love browsing their pet section.”

“LOVE whole foods, in general! This whole foods has some better aspects than the one downtown, like parking, which is easy here, prices seem cheaper here, but it overall has a smaller selection. This one has very little to no free samples, either. Overall, though, we ABSOLUTELY LOVE whole foods and this is now our go-to place to grocery shop!!!”

“I love Pure Barre! I started over a month ago now and saw results after the first few classes. The teachers are super encouraging and motivating, and the front desk staff are sweet and genuine. The classes are different every single session and challenging each time! As someone who used to fear group classes, I’ve found it to be the only way for me to be challenged and stick with consistent exercise! I have gotten rid of my gym membership where I saw zero results and happily switched to Pure Barre!”

“My sister and I stopped in here on a whim in early December. What luck! As a very aggressive shopper - online and in person - it is so exciting to see Goodland in Milwaukee. Super assortment of goods that are relatively hard to find in person anywhere; good prices. I took home two serrated knives with wood handles that have already gotten some use but plan to come back more to check out the pen, candle, and textile selection.”

“I rarely shop Rainbow but when I do... I come to this location (35th North Avenue) the service is exceptional and the store is clean. “I came in Friday 6/7 evening to look for a bra since I’ve been having the hardest time finding something to fit. I had a general idea of my size and asked the lady at the register. She said they don’t carry that size in sort and would be more for online purchase. I told her about my struggle with finding a good bra, she offered to fit me and told me my size. All along I had been completely wrong about my bra size and that is why I was having no luck. I left and was able to purchase a bra online with her size that she gave me and that fit amazingly. Now I know what size I need moving forward. I forgot her name but she had colored pink or purple hair. Thank you again!”

The cloth prices are more pricy, if you're looking for good quality and something different, this is the place to go. You won't end up wearing the same thing as everyone else. The employees is very friendly and welcome, If you go straight to the side, you'll find the sales section, sometimes you can spot some good price items.”

“Can you say bad things about the Maxx? Not too often. The kind staff member quickly put out the fire in the cigarette depository in front of the store when I alerted her to it. That was good. Lol Good times at the Maxx.”

“What's not to love? Wiskullsin makes some of the coolest stuff. Everyone I have given their t-shirts, coozies, or sunglasses to has dug their design. Add a little skull to your favorite sports team garb or rock a little hometown pride--either way, you can't go wrong.”

“This shop has quickly become one of my favorite places to look for something new, fun, and unique. I've bought several dresses since my first visit in June. One of my more recent trips I bought a really funky dress by N by Nancy brand. It was super tiny pleated fabric with a black background and lots of random color splashed here and there. I wore it to my cousin's wedding and got a million compliments. One woman even wanted to see the tag on the dress and wanted to know where I bought it. I also got a fabulous purple/blue dress for a friend's wedding in July that zipped up the front.
Every time I'm downtown I try to make time to stop in and take a look around. I love how unique the clothing is and I don't think anything is unreasonably priced for an independent boutique. I know what I'm getting there I won't see anywhere else. The ladies who work there have always been super friendly and helpful. I appreciate their willingness to give me an honest opinion while trying things on.”
