I am using a different name to avoid retaliation.I am writing this review as my daughter recently expressed interest to work in this place.I have been to this place more than once as a visitor. The message is great. Management is horrific. The manager has a very bad reputation in the community because of its pretentious, arrogant, and overbearing manager. I came to know about this three years ago when I walked in while the manager was scolding one of her employees as if she was a child. The employee was tearing up. I was shocked and thought she was her daughter- she wasn’t. I later learned that employees keep leaving because of her actions.I accidentally met with one of her employees months back. I specifically asked about her. She was terrified thinking I was testing her. After I explained why I was asking, she felt comfortable enough to utter the horrific stories she had in this place.My daughter will not and will never apply here.

From the first day working here, I knew it was a very special place. In my 35 years of having jobs, I’ve never experienced an environment like this. It can only speak to the founder and president, Janan Najeeb, the board members and the staff.Each woman has a superpower and uses it to her fullest to manage the incredible reach of the organization’s mission.MMWC and Janan Najeeb should be a household name.

They called me to meet with them and when I went there they tried to force me to say something bad about someone like for example they wanted me to lie. We are all Muslim and we should not lie. I learned that lying is a really bad sin and this is why I put a one star rating. It is because they wanted me to say bad things about someone and lie.

MMWC has many amazing programs and the newest program Our Peaceful Home, a culturally specific program work hard to provide support to the refugee and immigrant communities. Thank you for all the hard work you do. The center is beautiful and has many resources to learn about Islam as well. The entire staff are kind, friendly and very welcoming. Look forward to going back.

An excellent organization with many great programs benefiting the community through education and outreach. Some programs have lead to great aquired skills that afforded those who joined better careers or even leadership positions.

This is a wonderful group of women. They put themselves out there to help who ever needs it. Ignore the the bad reviews- if you notice they are all men that are salty this group is doing a good job.

This is the best place to be anytime of the year whether to read a book or check out books from the lending library or look for other resources including but not limited to educational material.Peaceful home initiative is very well organized program.
