6/2024, purchased and had installed vinyl flooring. Estimate of square footage was $200, over. Then sales person ordered and had installed different grade of floor from what I picked out. Bubbles have formed under the vinyl now. Am still waiting to have the issue resolved by same sales person. It’s been over a month. Let’s just say if salesperson’s name was Pinocchio, they’d both have very “long” noses by now! Won’t be going back.
8/24, update to previous post of 6/2024: original salesperson contacted me, and arranged for installer to come and fix bubbles in flooring. Everything was taken care of in a few days. I am very satisfied with their efforts to rectify the situation, and my kitchen floor.

About 8 years ago, I had a vinyl plank floor installed in my basement. The area was approximately 1600 square feet in total. The job consisted of having to use self leveling concrete to level the floor before the vinyl was installed.
This past year, there was an area that had separated, leaving some unsightly gaps.
I contacted Phil at Hunts Flooring to see what if anything could be done. Phil personally came to my residence ( 40 miles round-trip) to address my concerns.Sometime later, his crew returned to repair the floor. They spent about 3-4 hours doing the job. When it was done, I was pleasantly pleased with the results. The installer informed me that there was no charge and apologized for any inconvenience I incurred.
Nowadays, that level of customer service and integrity is hard to find. But I found it at Hunts Flooring. Thanks, Phil.

I tried to work with this business owner (Phil) as he sold my wife carpeting that he said was indestructible both for our bedroom and our staircases. I gave you a deal... blah ....The carpeting will hold up to your dogs... Blah...It's not even been two years and our carpet in our bedroom is ruined...seams from his installer Carpet Kurt (lying loser) are showing in the middle and he claimed that our carpeting was soaked with water and caused the damage. Idiot. The owner lied and refuses to warranty our carpet. Run...run...run from this business. Stay away. Stay away...Stay away. Untruthful bait and switch master.
UPDATE TO OWNERS REPONSE
You did not "try" to send someone over, you DID sent someone over to our house after I called in the complaint.
Your employee called from our bedroom stating that there were issues with our carpet and the installation. The seam in the middle was an installation issue and the carpet stands coming up all over were noted. The installer used, Kurt B, worked for you as a subcontractor and we knew him. YOU told us we could pay him cash to save money. Again, he subcontracts for YOU and I can prove it. You pawned off the problem stating WE hired Kurt to get out of your responsibility (insert move heaven and earth eyeroll).
The only response you gave was to have our carpet cleaned professionally and you DID NOT come out and move heaven and earth to help us out (pathetic response). If you truly cared about the customer as you say, you would have came to our home and took care of the issues YOUR employee reported to you.
As for your personal attack mentioning my profession and job location (Libel occurs when a false statement is published in written form and does harm to a victim), I will pursue your claim of me "strong-arm a taxpayer" as I never mentioned my profession or where I worked. You brought that into the conversation. I am a consumer and have rights to complain about a business if I choose.
As for your assumption that I did not do "detective work" before getting elected chief, I think you should take your own advice, chiefs are not elected, they are appointed Einstein.
You had no problem coming to my home to make the sale....you had no problem criticizing our kitchen floor material purchased from Lowes when you came to our home for an estimate saying it would not last. The "industrial" stair carpeting you sold us faded down the middle and the carpet cleaning company we hired said they tried to get the carpeting to match and clean up without success.
I have already started to rip up the carpeting and send it in to the manufacturer. Your personal attack shows your true character and your willingness to try and intimate me from following up and posting my experience is troubling to say the least. You should be receiving something soon. Lies people, all lies. Wake up. Friends trying to save the negative reviews. Do your job. Can't wait to post his face as the inspection report came in today!!! LOL
Game on.
March 19th update.
Now the owner is lying to the Better Business Bureau and making up more stories that we allegedly were severely rude to the worker he sent to repair the damages and he had to tell his worker to leave our house. Again, Phil reported that HIS installer was our personal friend that referred us to Hunts which is a flat out lie. By doing so it allowed him to avoid taking responsibility for the defective installation job and defective carpeting. I'm still working with the bureau, but this man lies and is a bully. He still hasn't answered the correct questions to the Better Business Bureau rather he just covers it up with additional noise or should I say lies- pathetic.

Amazing! From start to finish the entire staff and install team were great. Tony helped us select a carpet that was in budget and that matched our existing carpet. Their communication was spot on and the installers were very carful! We will be going back for all our future flooring needs!

We have had Hunt do work for us personally, and for our condo association. In both cases they have been great to work with. Communication was easy. Calls always answered or returned promptly. Professional advice, installation, and service was much appreciated. And, most importantly, when a measuring snafu came up, it was corrected quickly and painlessly. We would highly recommend.

I’ve used Hunt’s flooring for 2 homes and for our headquarters at work (carpet, hardwood, laminate, and tile). Both personal and business applications has been the best experience. Phil and Tony are amazing, and have an eye for detail. I ordered cabinets from them as well (coming Feb 2024 so I will update cabinet outcome but the layout and process has been amazing). I recommend Hunt’s to everyone!! Well above 5 stars.Ignore the pups who are in the home pics :p

We had an entire kitchen remodel and our contractor sent us to Hunt’s to pick out our flooring. I worked with Tony and he expertly led me to what I was looking for and helped me pick out a great stone look LVT. He even let me take home a sample for a couple of days so I could make sure the color looked good with my new countertops. I thought that’s where I would be done. When my kitchen contractor said they wouldn’t be able to do the flooring for 3 months, I called Tony and asked if Hunt’s could install it sooner. He quickly checked if it was in stock and then got me on the schedule for the next week! The installation was flawless and they worked around a weird wall with tile backsplash to make sure it looked good. I’m 100% satisfied and found Hunt’s to be the shining star in our entire remodel. Every other contractor and company left us disappointed at some point along the way but at least our floor went perfectly thanks to Hunt’s and Tony!

If you are making a decision on a flooring company for either your home or business, I highly recommend Hunt's Flooring. We recently purchased a large home that needed remodeling. We met with several flooring companies and almost went with one of them but decided to check out Hunt's to add one more company to our evaluation. We are so happy we met with Tony at Hunt's. From the moment we walked into the store through the installation we were treated like our remodel project was the most important project at Hunt's. About 1/2 of the home Hunt's very professional crew installed high quality, 20mil LVP and another crew from Hunt's installed the upper floors with high quality carpet. Tony asked the right questions during the buying process and then made recommendations based on our requirements for reliable, durable, high quality eye pleasing product. We know our new flooring is going to get lots of traffic by our large family including very active grand children. And it looks amazing! Hunt's was by far the most knowledgeable, offered the best product to fit our needs and managed each phase of the project in a very deliberate and professional manner. We highly recommend Hunt's Flooring!

Service was impeccable from sales to install. We had 10days to turn around our rental property including carpeting 3bdrms, stairs, living area, etc. With one call Doug, our sales person, personally came to Sussex with samples in hand. Guided us through the selection and recommendation used by large builders and apartment owners. We had 1100 sqft of carpet installed flawlessly by Tony & Lionel in 4/hrs. We definitely will use then again for our rental property and our personal home.Jean M.

Very happy with Hunt's Flooring & Tony. This is the 2nd time we used them. The first time we found an engineered hardwood floor we wanted & were comparing prices with different companies. We noticed a new flooring company in Hales Corners (Hunt's) & stopped in. We didn't find what we wanted & asked Tony if they had the flooring. He said no but could order it. The price was better than our other 3 quotes. We were also doing other remodeling & the project had to be done in 3 phases which they accommodated. They did a wonderful job. This time the job was carpet in the bedroom & we asked for the left over flooring from the first project to be placed in the closet. Again...we were happy with the outcome. It turns out we were slightly short on the wood flooring & Tony had some in stocks & brought it to my home the same day as the installation so the job could be finished. We did forget to ask for quarter rounds for three closet & Tony had that finished within days.

Hunt does not do the work. they subcontract it out to other people.I thought I would get the small locally owned company of business. I told them I was unable to remove the 60 ft.² of laminate that was poorly put in by me.They got all excited about taking away 60 ft.² of unglued vinyl engineered wood laminate. They left me I have to go to the big Home Depot with you’re very reliable.

Went to Hunt Flooring to purchase tile for two small areas in my 100 year old home. I would only need one box for each area. Tony took the time to show me numerous samples and suggested that I take some home. He treated me as if I had a large remodeling job to do. Very impressive customer service! Will definitely recommend Tony and Hunt Flooring to others.
