First I want to say the young lady who did my hair did a wonderful job at the cut on my first appointment! This review is not reflective of my first appointment for the cut only my second for color.I was very happy! But I came back in for strawberry blonde AND highlights and did NOT get this! I paid for the awful job she did but I left thinking after I styled it and I got a better look it wouldn't be so bad and yes we could correct it at the next appointment we se for this, She never mentioned doing this for a lower fee and I paid her with a small tip,,not my normal,,after this mess that I left with. It was just horrible and I stated over and over I don't do 2 toned hair and want NATURAL looking! She apparently thought this would blend in with my current hair which is stra/blonde. No highlights even given. I called and asked for the manager to see what we could work out,,being that this young lady is fairly fressh out of hair school? I just didnt trust going back without someone assisting her,,giving her SOME kind of guidance but apparently JC pennys doesnt do that or she was just not comfortable asking her fellow staff members? But a conversation with the manager could help me come back for a try maybe. The manager was off when I called and the young lady I spoke to assured me shed get a message for her to call me back BUT THAT NEVER happened. If it did and we could have settled this I would not have left a review. But be warned,,I feel as if my stylist had more support here she may have felt freer to ask for advice if this was over her head. She was a very sweet girl and her cutting skills were wonderful,,but more help,,experience before she tackles gray pre dyed hair maybe. And shame on this manager for NOT returning a call!! Shows how much this manager cares or values a customer!!! I’ve been here for my toddler’s haircut a year ago and had a wonderful experience, so I came back for myself. The staff here is so personable, talented, and followed my lead with what I wanted. I worked with Evie last time I went and she is a rock star! Gina made me feel welcome as well and I enjoyed my visit.I also worked with Sherri before with my daughter and she’s the reason we came back. She gave us a great experience. Thank you to the awesome staff here!

Very upset didn't have my shampoo. Had to go to Southridge and lady there helped me with what I needed and also have me a coupon to use on my purchase

Between Supercuts, great clips, and other run of the mill salons and barbers I find it difficult to find a reliable place that I can trust to not mess up my haircut. Generally as a guy I'm not too fussed, but The Salon in JCPenney's has always given me a good cut for a good price.

The stylist was nice. BUT I left my 16 year old alone (so she could feel more grown up) to get haircut after clarifying our general request. (Undercut shaved and a couple inches off with some blending.) The haircut was fine, but daughter said it scratches a little. After we left she showed me and I saw these huge scratches. $40 was more than online listed for minimal cut, but I figured it was fine, since they probably have not gotten so much business this past year. But the scratches from a shaver are horrible.Service: Haircut

My wife made an appointment with Maggie. Maggie was extremely rude. Apparently Maggie doesn't approve of booking on line. It is an option provided by the company. There are better ways to deal with things than treating my wife and 12 year old daughter like dirt.you can go anywhere else and be treated better.

I've been going to this salon since I moved back to the Milwaukee area. I previously used the JC Penney Salon in Fort Myers, so I thought I'd give the Greenfield/Southridge Salon a try.I've been going to this salon at Southridge for several years now. Gina almost always does the cut, style and color. I can't say I've ever been displeased with the cut, color and service as well as the friendly professionalism as well.

I have been going to the JC Salon since I was a teenager, about 40 years ago. I highly recommend this place. I've had my current stylist Betsy for many years. She is always trying to help me keep my style fresh. She happily suggests new ways to style my hair, making it easier for me. She is always so nice & cares about my comfort. She takes good care of my family too.

Supposed to be open until 9 pm. Get there at 730 pm and it is closed. On another occasion, called to clarify coupon, was asked if I know how to read.

After over 10+ years with the same stylist, I hesitantly walked into the Salon at JC Penney and met Dora. My cut, color and style are the best I have ever had. I am older and I DO NOT want a traditional old lady style. Dora is an expert colorist and stylist. Please note that a lot of the reviews here are dated and should not discourage you from giving it a try.
