NEVER use this place. I had a major problem with my eye and when I went for the prescription they didn't have it and then they were closed the next day. This medication I needed was time sensitive and could worsen if not taken care of immediately.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this Walgreens location. The attitude of the management is absolutely unacceptable. They are rude, completely incompetent, and show little to no professionalism. It's clear that there's a significant communication breakdown among the team members, which results in a chaotic and frustrating experience for customers.
Management's inability to lead effectively and maintain basic communication standards is astonishing. Their lack of coordination leaves customers waiting unnecessarily and dealing with repeated mistakes. I have never encountered such poor service at a store before.
To anyone considering visiting this Walgreens, I strongly advise against it. The mismanagement and disorganized environment make it an incredibly unpleasant place to shop. This store desperately needs a change in leadership and better training for its staff. Avoid this location if you value your time and sanity.

Walgreen on University Ave has the worst service! Highly unprofessional & unskilled stuffs (pharmacy). I need to visit the store 3 times to get a correct amount of my prescribed medicine (they gave wrong amount of medicine last time). Highly disappointed.

Worst pharmacy ever, completely unreliable. They randomly close with no notice, expect to spend ~30-50 mins just to pick up one prescription that is supposedly “ready for pickup”. On multiple occasions they have given me the wrong or only part of my prescription that is listed as ready on the app as well. Will be switching to a further location- it’s not worth it.

My review is for the store, not the pharmacy. This specific location has some of the nicest staff I've come across, especially at night. Customer service is important to me and dictates where I spend my money. I've had staff go above and beyond to help me find what I'm looking for and they always have a pleasant attitude. The last that works in the beauty department during the day is also wonderful. She's very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They also seem to be appropriately staffed compared to the Walgreens on Main St., just 2 miles away.

I am not sure what is going on at this Walgreens, they never seem to be able to keep people in their pharmacy, there are always new people. Not to mention that they are low on staff, which I understand, but then don’t allow door dash orders to come through. Also, don’t let them skip the WHOLE line after it just took everyone else there at least 45 minutes to get through it. That’s not fair.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. If it were possible, I would rate negative stars.
I no longer receive any calls when my meds are ready for pick up. When I call, the automated system says I have something ready, but when I talk to a person because something about the prescription is wrong, I'm told that nothing is ready. I've been out of at least one medication for months now, and another one for about a week. The one that just ran out was the one the system told me was ready, but the pharmacist told me was not ready.
I keep getting calls from their corporate office asking if I want to sign up for some service where they prepare all my meds to be picked up in one stop, and I finally relented and agreed. Since then, I have received no information about any of my medications, and they even reduced my 90 day supply to 30 days with no explanation from them or my insurance.
Despite having used this pharmacy for years, and having the same insurance for the last two, I am told they don't have my information in the system. I recently checked to see if they still offered free COVID tests, and the website claims this is the case if you have insurance. I was not even asked for my insurance card. I was charged $20, dragged into the grimy back hall by their bathrooms, told to do the test myself, then asked if I knew about the at home tests anyways.
If you need medications that help to regulate some severe illnesses, DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY.
The management that runs this location clearly doesn't care about the people that shop here, especially as the hours for the pharmacy have been getting reduced year after year despite the insane amount of staff, and the constant 30+ minute line waiting at the counter.

I recently needed to pick up some stuff from Walgreens, I wanted to get some pre workout powder, I wasn’t sure which one so I asked this nice young lady, her name was Lorendy, she gave me recommendations and answered any questions I had about the products, she treated me with the upmost respect, attention and care, and she made sure to treat all customers in the store the same way, I left the store happy with the best customer service experience ever!!!
