This is a late review, but I had to do one. Skaleski Moving was an amazing choice which I would strongly recommend to others. I moved from Wisconsin to Illinois, and the moving team was up front with pricing and what they could do and on time and very courteous. They even went the extra mile to help wrap and pack large fragile and awkward packages(large LEGO set). In addition to the great work at origin, the movers also performed in a similar fashion at the new residence. It was easy to work with their team, everything arrived safe and sound and on time and pricing was more than reasonable. Again, I would highly recommend their services for moving, and if possible would use them in the future again.

Skaleski moving services was fantastic. They take great care in protecting your belongings as well as protecting flooring. Al and Michael were fabulous did an awesome job and very professional. They both went above and beyond. Highly recommend this company.

Sean and the team at SMS were top notch! We had to move in a relatively quick time frame; they worked with us and provided efficient, high quality service. We couldn’t have done this without them! From the initial assessment to packing/moving to communication with the office, it has been a seamless and great experience. If we needed to move again we would plan to use Skaleski Moving & Storage. Thanks again for the high quality service and help with the move!

O my gawd call the police these guys are breaking the laws... of gravity definitely going to give them a decent tip they've earned it and it's the holidays season they probably have things to do for their families but they are here helping me and I appreciate it how much you ask? I'm going to let my wallet answer this..... wow did you hear that? Nothing! My wallet is udderly speechless it can't even form a coherent sentence amazing, remember people tip your movers happy Thanksgiving y'all have a great time and keep on moving.

When I came here to write a review I read some of the ancient reviews from 2012 to 2017. We just completed our move from Wisconsin to Wyoming yesterday 6/2/2023. Sean Skaleski started the process with a detailed home inventory and provided a quote days after. His packing team showed up and efficiently packed up a 3 bedroom house with family room and living room filled after living in the house for 39 years. He did recommend purging unwanted items at this time. The packing day, loading day, and delivery day all took place on schedule, which was communicated to us almost a month before the move. There is a window for delivery depending on where the truck travels on its delivery route. We hit the first day of our delivery window.We were very happy with the 2 packing teams and our driver Al was great to work with and really took care of belongings. I highly recommend Skaleski Moving and you can trust what they are telling you.

The owner, Sean, was kind and professional throughout the estimate and decision-making process, and the three gentleman who assisted us in our move from Green Bay to Madison were wonderful! Consistent and reliable communication and thorough move preparation and advice by Sean Skaleski personally...throughout the entire move process. He surveyed the move and did the quote himself. Quote was just slightly lower than the other big moving company quotes. Service from his pick-up crew was great...they were personable and efficient. Move was over 2,000 miles, so contract time to delivery was up to 3 weeks...just like all the other quotes. Allied used almost all that time. Delivery was handled by another reputable local agent at destination, also with a good crew. In pricing moving options, don't fall for the sketchy broker agencies online offering half the price...I have colleagues with stories of theft, damage, and ransoming delivery for more money. Go with one of the large, nationally known moving companies with good local agents that will do an in-home inventory to quote. If you go with Skaleski, and Allied, you will have the peace of mind of a reputable operation that they will do exactly what is contracted.

Conducted two moves. One of shop goods and storage items to Chicago. Several large items required special handling.Second move of household goods to storage went well despite weather conditions.

I chose Skaleski for a small move from Green Bay to Oakland, California. Honestly, the job was so small -- just a room's worth of furniture and boxes -- that I wasn't sure whether they'd accept it. But Skaleski acted as if I were moving a whole house. Sean and his staff were enormously helpful and courteous while providing thorough and accurate details about what the move would entail. Sean also provided regular updates via email over the phone and responded to my inquires promptly. And at the end of the move, my well-packed belongings arrived complete and undamaged. I'd certainly use Skaleski again.

Contracted Skaleski to move from WI to Arkansas. Sean came to the house to assess & provide a estimate. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable. His estimate was 100% accurate. The packing process went well. Their driver, AL, was great to work with. The good arrived in good condition and on time. I was happy with them.
