I've had to relocate several times over the years which also meant seeing many different optometrists. Only one of them has ever stood out. Dr. Jason Gospodarek at Sam's Club Optical Center is not only professional and friendly, but also very passionate and knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to ask good questions, listened very well, and explained everything while making sure I understood. I left there feeling confident that I got the care appropriate for my situation and needs. Not only will I be back, I'll be recommending him to my family and friends.

10/5! I have been to four different optometrists in the Green Bay area in the past four years and Dr. Gospodarek was by far the best! He was so kind and took his time examining my eyes. He also explained everything thoroughly and I walked out of my appointment with new knowledge and the most accurate prescription I have had in years. If you are looking for a new optometrist, this is your guy!

10 plus stars for the doctor and -10 for the staff. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Over 20 years. Dr. Jason is amazing! He always gets the prescription correct. Very good and top notch respectful doctor. The service from some of the staff the worst though and keeps getting worse. A few of them will ignore you till you ask for help. Then they act very bored and want to get rid of you as fast as they can. There is one older lady who has been there a long time that makes no effort to hide the fact she either just doesn't like the job or doesn't like you. Either way the worst customer experience ever. The eye glass selection has also gotten worse. They no longer have the 1 year warranty on glasses and want you to buy insurance with a deductible that is half the price of the glasses in the first place if you want any warranty. So spend more on low quality frames and then when they break from normal wear in less than 6 months buy more. Better off getting your prescription done by Dr. Jason then going to online to a place like Zenni optical and buying a pair of glasses that last longer for a fraction of the cost.

Great Dr G goes way beyond call of duty. Very very thorough especially those of us with pre diabetic conditions. I've had several eye drs over the years moving state to state and he the best I've ever had do my exam. Makes an excellent showcase exam the way they are supposed to be done! Dr G's staff is polite and efficient and know their jobs. This is the way a business should be run. Thank you Dr G for taking care of my families eye needs!!! You will not go wrong here. Besides after your eyes are examined.,,you can shop at Sams Club as you're already there!

Dr. Gospodarek was phenomenal with my young daughter! He kindly and patiently answered all my questions and was incredibly knowledgeable! We’ve been to several other optometrists that have been condescending and dismissive of my concerns and questions. We will absolutely be making Dr. Gospodarek our family optometrist now. Can’t recommend highly enough! Other staff was kind and professional as well!

Horrible way they treat their OWN employees!! You have to come in every single day as if you do not deal with things outside of work and even if you do have problems outside of work that affect the way you perform and inform them, they will take it the wrong way and have you fired on the spot. Today we experienced terrible customer service at the Green Bay store. We had a chair to return which was purchased on line and paid for on our Sams club card. We spent 45 minutes at the service desk they kept telling me I needed the order number. I was able to pull the charge up on my card but that was not good enough for them. By now I was more then frustrated, I asked for a manger, Tina S, finally made it to the service counter after multiple pages. Again after 15 min

I have been to many optometrists over my lifetime relocating due to career moves and I will say that we have never had such a thorough eye exam as Dr G gave both my wife and myself the last 2 years visiting his practice in Sam's on West Mason St on both annual eye exams. Although we have "a little" Diabetes and MS, he checked all the boxes and more in our exams and gets the high remarks he deserves! You won't go wrong here! No nonsense, thorough, helpful, up-to-date on science, medicine, and the rest of what you want to get when you get your eyes examined with underlying medical issues. "See" you next year Dr G.
