This is a busy and multi-tasked activity center. Many programs with which to partake; several water /exercise stations...plenty of ongoing to enlist the favor of all children 6months - 97 years old.
Very courteous and helpful staff members, instructors and information people to assist with your every need.
Parking is available everywhere.

I thought this was a really nice facility with a lot to offer! We decided to check it out on a rainy day with the family and took advantage of the basketball courts, fitness center, and pool area.
Prices are very reasonable for a standard day pass and all we had to do was fill out a waiver and show ID. The pool area is really great for the toddler aged children and the water slide was pretty fast and lots of fun too!

My husband had called a week ahead to check on open swim. We were told the kid section is open all day but regular pool might be closed if it was booked. No big deal my three small kids would have been in the splash pad anyway.
On a Wednesday we got our kids loaded up and in the building to be told very rudely we were wrong. Splash pad isn't open all day. Rudely given a schedule so we could check it next time before showing up. She told us to come back after 4 for the splash pad. We would need to become members and sign waivers. She wouldn't tell us how much membership was.
We left with three screaming kids who didn't understand mom and dad did everything right but we were still wrong. The employee wasn't even sorry. I tried to tell her we had called and asked about swimming. She wouldn't even let me finish and again tried to give me a schedule so we couldn't mess it up next time.
Sorry ma'am there will be no next time, not with your attitude.

I recently cancelled my membership at the Salvation Army Kroc Center due to several concerning issues. Firstly, the discriminatory practice of not allowing Hispanics to play soccer is utterly unacceptable. The management hid all the soccer balls and prevented us from enjoying a sport we love. This exclusionary behavior is completely unjustifiable. Furthermore, the constantly changing cancellation policies added unnecessary frustration to the process. Each time I attempted to cancel, I was met with conflicting stories and unhelpful attitudes from the staff. Their lack of consistency and professionalism only added to my dissatisfaction. Overall, my experience at the Salvation Army Kroc Center was marred by rude staff and an environment that is clearly not welcoming to Hispanics. It's disheartening to see such blatant discrimination and poor customer service in a community center that should be inclusive and supportive of all its members. I will not be renewing my membership until change of environment. I have several people to back me up.

I've been coming here often for open gym volleyball and let me tell you the staffs in the gym are incredibly rude. When asked to put the net down at the CORRECT time for open gym volleyball, the lady in the fitness room gets very annoyed for doing HER job when there is no one in the gym to do it. Alongside that, they are incredibly arrogant and talk very rudely to us. Honestly speaking, there is probably a race thing at play which is very unfortunate.

Love our new exercise location. Near home, always a machine available, and feel like I have more energy when I leave.

I would like to state that I've been coming to the Kroc for quite awhile now and during my past visits I have never experienced an issue nor encountered such horrible staff members. However, today during open gym hours my family and I came to play volleyball and upon arrival the net was already down on court A as we were told it was broken and could not be put up. With that being said we played on court A from 2:00-4:00. Later on we were told that court A would be assigned to full court basketball, and court B would now be open gym. At the moment there was only a few basketball players and I did not see anyone else playing any other sports so we had asked if we could stay on court A as it would be more convenient for us and the basketball players since the net could not go up. However, we were kicked off without an explanation and forced to stop our game mid-way. During that time a staff member named Lexi began to shout and scream at us with a rude demeanor. She stated that volleyball was an “organized sport”, which was false as it was open gym hours on the schedule. From past experiences every time that I've gone to the Kroc the open gym rules have always been majority rules, my group had more than 25+ people which out numbered any other parties there. Not to mention we also had plenty of others that weren't apart of our group that also wanted to join in. I also mentioned that there was not a lot of people for basketball, but those who were there for basketball already had an assigned court. We asked if we could have the net put down on court B if it was such a huge deal and we were ignored. When we got off the court and were packing up to leave they essentially opened both courts just for basketball which defeats the purpose of open gym. I strongly advise the Kroc to make a more detailed and defined outline for the open gym policy. We were also told we have “no rights” and there's to be no negotiation whatsoever. As a group that had to pay money and have memberships to be there we expect to get treated better than this. I hope that these staff members don't treat others this way. Adding on, today was my birthday and my vibe was definitely killed from this awful experience. I'd like a refund for not being able to use my day pass for open gym as clearly it was not open gym. I tried to get a corporate number but I was told they didn't have one.

The facility was nice, however the staff was not. Particulally staff member Lexi. After attending open gym, volley ball is not important enough to let 20+ people (predominantly Asian) continue playing on half of the court, when the space is already evenly split. This was not a planned volleyball event that had a start and end time, this was open gym and we got kicked out at 5.

Everything was great except for the discouraging staff member Lexi with blonde hair and glasses. She was very rude upon open gym. We had 20 plus people, 75% of us day passes. Most of us were planning to create memberships there until she rudely told us that there’s no negotiations and that if someone wanted to throw a football, that would be more important than 20 plus people playing vball. The net was broken and would not go back up anyways. All the times I’ve been there they would never put down the net down even if there was 5 people playing full court basketball on the open gym side. Felt very discriminated and belittled by this staff member. She was yelling at the top of her lungs telling us to “ GET OFF”. We got off in less than 30 seconds and she continued to yell at us. Someone said “yes thank you” loud enough for her to hear and she decided to confront them for being “rude”. I hope she does not do this to other people who bring their friends and families to have a good time.

Worker named Lexi was very rude towards the volleyball group. The net is broken and can’t be raised up anyways. 100% not open gym.
