At the moment my car is in this shop for some extensive repairs. For a while? I was feeling timid. The owner though was very up front and helpful with dispensing information and coming up with a strategy to tackle things in a reasonable order.
These guys will go to bat for you, and are honest. They don't make promises, but only because working on a car is always more complex than "Here, it's all fixed". At every step they'll work with you, and have proven they are considerate to cost even when given the Green light to a set amount.
Would recommend to anyone. If your car breaks down? Get established here. Smaller shop with a long wait list. It's well worth the time, they're busy for a reason.

Our family was visiting the area and found ourselves with a hole in one of our tires before our long drive back home. Despite being super busy, Mike was able to squeeze us in and repaired our tire quickly and professionally. We really appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond for customer service.

Had a great experience! They went above and beyond for me to get my repair done. Major fixes are never cheap but pricing was fair and I feel confident that my repair was done properly. They did an amazing job explaining what my car needed and why. Will be my first phone call for any service needed in the future.

Mike and the mechanic did a awesome job get us back on the road. By scanning and testing our alternator and battery and checking are fuses and ground wire.

On Friday afternoon before the Memorial Day weekend, I was traveling out-of-state in my RV when the “Check Engine” light came on. The RV is on a Ford Chassis so I called the local Ford dealers to inquire as to whether I could bring the RV in to them. They were booked until July and would not give me an appointment. I randomly located Ron’s Affordable Auto Repair at 1710 Calaway Dr. When I got to his shop, Mike and his employee, Kyle, immediately went to work to find the problem. After determining the problem, he said he couldn’t fix it that evening, but he ordered the parts and said he would come in at 8AM the next day (Saturday) and fix the RV for me.
I told him that I would have to get a hotel room for the night because I only had the RV to sleep in. When he found out that a hotel room would cost me over $250 for the night due to the holiday, he immediately found a place very close by where I could stay in the RV that night. The next morning, as promised, he and Kyle began working on my RV. They worked for over 4 hours to fix the problem and got me on my way. They charged me a very reasonable fee for their work.
I was traveling to Door County, which is a fairly isolated area with few auto repair places, none of which would be open during the Memorial Weekend. Mike gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him if I had any other problems while I was in Door County. As it turned out, on Memorial Day I encountered a different problem with the RV. I called Mike and he immediately answered the phone. He told me that I could bring the RV back to his shop the next day for the new problem.
On Tuesday, I did bring the RV back to Mike’s shop and he immediately got to work. He worked on it for several hours and had it fixed later that day and I was once again on my way. I was shocked when he said he would not charge me for the new repair, that he was just happy to help me out.
I am very grateful that Mike helped me out on a holiday weekend when no one else would help me. Mike really lifted my spirits and restored my trust in the goodness of people by fixing my RV for free and finding me a place to sleep for the night so I didn’t have to incur a hotel cost.
I highly recommended Ron’s Affordable Auto Repair and hope people will reward his kindness toward me by giving him their business.

Highly impressed with the new owner's credentials and professional service! Mike is an ASE Master Certified Technician who specializes in diagnostics. I stopped by without an appointment because my car was lagging in power. He took time from his lunch and fit me in. I ask a lot of questions, so he showed me the troubleshooting results from his diagnostic tool. He explained a complex issue in easy to understand terms. As a veteran owned company, he gave me a military discount when I showed him my military ID. Thanks Mike for your help!

Bergstrom quoted me $4300 to fix what they thought was a transmission leak. I take my car to Ron's Repair, and they correctly diagnosed my oil leak issue for free. I ended up paying less than half of what Bergstrom quoted to get it fixed. I would do business with Ron's Repair over a dealership any day.
