“Extraordinary experience...clearly, above and beyond! If I could give a review of more than 5 stars, I certainly would. I came to Spectrum Insurance Group as I was at wits end. We reached out to other insurance companies (5-7 in total) directly or indirectly and all decided to not even quote us. These other companies asked a few basic questions and based on our “surface level” responses they made their decisions. Bennett at Spectrum took a different approach though. He sunk his teeth into understanding our business and the perceived risks the other companies were concerned about. He asked far more detailed and probing questions than the other companies. He then took our responses back to certain underwriters he works with. He spent considerable time explaining our business operation to the underwriters and made certain they clearly understood our business and our operations. He also made certain the underwriters understood that the risks that the other companies flagged were not as they had appeared on the surface. The process did take some time though….3-4 weeks in total. But, to Bennett’s credit, he hung in there, went to bat for our company, and leveraged his great relationship with a particular underwriter at a respected insurance company to gain a favorable result for our company. I firmly believe the favorable outcome that Bennett obtained for us is the sole result of him just caring and taking the time to go above and beyond whereas the other companies did not. The other companies simply based their decisions on a quick and dirty “check box” approach without taking the time to fully understand our business. When we didn’t tick off certain check boxes for them with our responses to their general questions, they prematurely determined that it wasn’t worth their time to go any further. I would highly recommend the Spectrum Insurance Group and Bennett to anyone in need of business insurance and, in particular, anyone whose business is somewhat unique and does not nicely and neatly fit into standard categories brokers and insurance companies typically utilize for determining and assessing risks.”
