This place is fantastic. Rik walked me threw the yard. I have not seen reclaimed wood like this anywhere else in the Midwest. So many end-uses I cannot wait to start projects with it.

This place was absolutely perfect from walking in and being greeted to getting the material I wanted to build my 1880s building in my shop with a bar.Rick was so helpful gave a tour of all the many types of wood they had his knowledge of barn boards and what to use turned out perfect.the show room was amazing with so many ideas for a person to look at Rick took the time walked me through so many different options of lumber what a great place. I will be going back for sure

Woodworkers/Crafters/Small Business Owners: Beam and Board has very high quality slabs. Unfortunately, they come with heart palpitation inducing price tags. I’ve been shopping there for a while (probably 2-3 years now). Prices have absolutely skyrocketed in the last year, making even basic slabs out of reach for the average garage warrior. Beam and Board used to work with me on pricing, but that’s quickly turned into super small markdowns on outrageously priced wood. As much as I love the store, the nice staff, and the quality of the products, the prices have grown to FAR beyond reasonable. As unfortunate as it is, I believe I’ve visited beam and board for the last time. I hope this review finds a manager or the owner - you’re quickly losing a large population of garage warriors. Maybe that’s okay with your business model, but I’d like to think that every purchase matters.

This review comes from the “supplier” side. Wayne and his crew razed my family farm barn. They did exactly what I asked them to do. I was forewarned there would be waste left in the old foundation, no surprise there, but anything that could be recycled was taken. I was sorry to have to lose our old barn but this was the best option for a failing barn. I would recommend B&B for this type of demolition.

They came and looked at a building i was tearing down. Shawn told me he would be out 2 weeks ago to look at it. After several ignored calls and texts he came out 6 days later and said they would buy everything. I hauled them one of the many loads today and another person told me they wont buy any of it. Theyve wasted my time and money. Theyre so unorganized!!!!

Very knowledgeable, easy to work with, great advice, and a huge amount of mantels to choose from! I will be going back to choose some black walnut to make cofee, and end tables for our room!

We bought a piece of reclaimed beam for a fireplace mantel project we are doing. Our experience with Beam & Board was awesome! The people there were incredible. Emily was very patient helping us look at different alternatives. We initially shopped there and came back many weeks later and Emily remembered us when we walked in. She was very kind and helpful, made this whole experience just a pleasure. Also, when we went to pickup our mantel, Eric helped us. He too was very friendly and servicing. We just are so happy we chose to shop at Beam & Board!
