Steve is a gem! Great mechanic who is not only technically skilled but honest, transparent, hard working, and fair. He gives folks the time of day, likely even overextending himself, because he's just that kind of person. He truly wants to help people and provide honest work. As a woman, I have no issue popping into the shop on a whim to catch Steve and talk to him about anything and everything related to my vehicle or what he's working on in the present moment. He always listens, takes the time to explain, and is respectful throughout the conversation.

My AC wasn’t working so I brought the car in. He was so honest and SO kind about the fact that he wouldn’t be able to complete the service because he didn’t have the machinery yet. He diagnosed the problem and took time from his day and didn’t charge me. Will definitely be coming back for any other car related problems.

This auto shop constantly goes above and beyond! Being a woman who does not know a lot about cars, it can feel intimidating to get your car fixed. This mechanic and owner explains all options and the why, fights for car parts and warranties on your behalf because it’s the right thing to do, provides honest feedback, gives 100% in his work and follow through, helps in last minute emergencies, and shows so much respect! His work is the best quality and is beyond fair in his pricing. If you are someone who needs an honest, kind mechanic who stands behind his work, this is the place to go.

I came here by mistake instead of another shop, but I’m glad I did. I had a different shop put me on a week waitlist to diagnose the issue, then another 3 week waitlist to fix it up in door county, but the issue they found at A&S was the root cause of the cars symptoms. The long waitlist shop was going to perform an expensive repair that would not have fixed anythingThanks again for taking a look and communicating so clearly what you found.

Two years ago my wife and I moved into this area. We were looking for an auto repair shop in the area. We started to go to Steve at A&S auto for auto work. I cannot say enough good about the professional and care work done by Steve at his shop. I have owned cars for over fifty years and I have never found a mechanic that I would trust more to do work on my car than owner Steve.
