Terrible. No doctors present. Letting people sit in the hallways waiting for care.

Grafton, transport your patients by ambulance elsewhere if you do not have the room or physicians to staff a night! Aurora ER in other counties have always treated people well. Serious problems here with desk/nursing respect & timely aide. Even AI knows better. Build more ER rooms? Or transfer care please. Five hours before pain control or CT order?????
• Al Overview
No, it is generally not appropriate to wait five hours in an emergency room for a doctor if you are experiencing acute, extreme pain from a kidney stone; due to the severity of the pain, you should seek immediate medical attention and not tolerate a long wait in the ER."

Waited over an hour for a doctor for a relatively simple issue. Dr. Zils came in for 5 minutes, made suggestions, provided no treatment. I was charged $920 for the visit.

Ridiculous wait times, zero sense of urgency or compassion, once finally taken back to be seen, seemingly forgotten about for hours while the nursing staff just sits and gossips. Terrible experience.

First visit today to Aurora ER for prior knee injury. Was quite impressed with professionalism from check-in, intake nurse, woman who did the ultrasound and the PA. They found cause of my pain. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience! I went to the ER only because every urgent care was closed nearby. I was experiencing symptoms of food poisoning which was very rare for me. As soon as I arrived the lady from behind the desk was very rude. During the triage the nurse decides to shout out my symptoms loudly, as though she was telling everyone in the front lobby. The symptoms of food poisoning are kind of embarrassing if they're shouted out. I was there for help so I had to tell her what was going on. That was just the beginning of the horrible experience. Then I was called to the back to be seen by the provider. I was told to take a urine sample in order to test for everything so I peed in a cup. Then I went to the room they told me to. After waiting for a few minutes a nurse came in. She had a scowl on her face and she spoke with a rude tone. She had her name tag flip around because she didn't wan't the patients to see it. When the provider arrived she asked me the same questions as the triage. So I told them all of the symptoms. Then the Provider walked said the rude nurse would connect an I.V. In order to take more test about what was going on with me. I agreed. As the provider walked out I heard her make a sound that sounded like someone throwing up. It was as though she was mocking me because that was the main symptom that I told her about. Next the rude nurse was inserting the needle trying to take the tests. Yet it wasn't working for some reason. she kept moving it side to side back and forth for a few minutes until I had enough. I then asked her to stop and take it out. I do not like needles. I only did the test because I thought something was really wrong with me due to the rare symptoms that I was experiencing. So kept asking her to take it out and she started arguing with me. She seem very irritated despite the fact that she wasn't the person sick and at risk of their vein being ruined. She moved the needle around so much that it hurt my arm. It was as though she did not know what she was doing. So when I asked her to stop she got upset and stormed out of the room. I asked her for her name but she refused to give it to me. Then another nurse came in instead. I complained to her about the previous nurse but she wouldn't give me that nurse's name either. So at the point I was ready to leave. I asked to get a prescription for the nausea so I could go. So they gave me one for a basic nausea medication. Then she said I could leave. There was no test run at all. As I walked out I noticed the urine sample that I had taken when I arrived. So I went to ask the last nurse why they didn't test the urine and she gave me a confusing answer that didn't give me the reason why they didn't test it. At that point I was leaving already so I just said alright and left. That was one of the worst experiences that I ever had at a hospital in my entire life. I filed a complaint with the risk management of the Aurora Grafton Medical Center and they have been giving me the runaround. I'm also in the process of filing a lawsuit against the hospital for malpractice. If you were mistreated like this do not let it go. We have to keep pressing the issue until they make a change.

Recently, I had a cardiac episode called SVT and my father took me to this ER. I told them at the desk what I had and within minutes, I was checked in and with a nurse. They took care of me very quickly and efficiently and I was treated and released within 3 hours. I also had a very thorough RN by the name of Jacob; he was extremely personable and gave me more information about what happened and potentially why it happened and excellent guidance. I have never received this before and am very grateful for him and the entire team. Thank you, Aurora, for saving me that night!

Absolutely ridiculous. Tells us we cant eat in case were seen soon and then have us sit and starve for 4 hours. Are you people even trying? This isnt an urban hospital, you arent out of beds, you just dont know how to staff your ER. Figure it out morons.

I drive from Wauwatosa to this Emergency Room. Everything was 100 percent, except they were supposed to finish with a rectal exam and they forgot as I was diagnosed with Coilits. They were dealing with critical situations, so I understand. Morgan and NP Colleen were caring and informative. I suffer badly from OCD, anxiety, and depression. They also are diligent. I went to Escencion ER off of Hwy 45 in the Falls and they were horrific compared to Grafton ER. I got there in severe pain at 1230pm and was out by 430. That included blood wk, urine analysis, IV fluids, amazing acceptance for my service dogs, vitals, and most importantly the CT Scan that determined the colitis. They are extremely thorough and genuinely care. Dr, Colleen and Morgan were soothing, understanding, and professional. This is my one and only choice as my go to Emergency Room. Lastly, all of my friends in the Milwaukee area were like just go around here. I was like.....ummmm....no. Grafton Emergency Room is the best.

If I could give them zero stars I surely would! Worst emergency room/triage/ hospital visit ever! As of this minute we are almost eight hours in and my dad still hasn't been assigned his room. Never seen anything like this in my life! ZERO sense of any urgency!

Doctors such as Kate Kormanick unnecessarily call 911 about your driving (inconveniently get you pulled over by police only to be released because you didn't do anything wrong), list unprofessional aspects in your charts, and if you are a RN, Aurora staff (especially Patty Stockhausen ) will be unprofessional and call travel nurses "Travel Trash" and utilize then in the role of a CNA even though they are a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse...whilst the regular staff are newly graduated nurses and should be taking the less cognitive skills roles... Overall just a big 'clique' wherein racism occurs as very few ethnicities are hired or retained.

Doctor didn't understand the difference between Hydrocodone and Oxycodone! Nurses gab at the nurses station all day long while patients' lights go unanswered and are in pain. My cat gets more attentive treatment at the vet. Never come here.

Friendly staff and very clean medical clinic. Sometimes very long waiting to be seen for appointment.
