Avoid this post office at all costs. Within the last two months, two packages with tracking numbers last scanned in Germantown didn't arrive. After being a week late, called them and was told that I put my mail on hold. False; I received letters, etc during that time. Second package, when I called, I was told it's barcode was not legible and it had to be entered manually. Regular mail gets delivered without barcodes. They said the mail carrier "believes" he delivered it but could have gone to wrong address. Told me to file a claim. Use Amazon whenever possible...they always deliver.

I had a package that was lost in transit and shipped to the wrong address in my neighborhood, I went to my local Germantown post office and was assisted by Gregory who is a awesome guy, He asked me if I could get him a tracking number, Later in the day from work I called to inform them of the tracking number and talked to a wonderful young lady named Kristen, She took my info and heard me out on my dilemma and said she would call and let me know what transpired, A hour or so later this young lady called and said she went and retrieved my goods and put them by my door!!! This lady is a absolute angel and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me, I have no words and just can not get over her kindness and professionalism, Kristen deserves a medal for just being so awesome, This was a expensive order I thought was lost and because of her it is safe! My heart is elated, Huge hugs young lady, You rock Kristen, The world needs more people like you in it....

The “Supervisor” had a ridiculous attitude and was laughing at me on the phone when I was inquiring about my package that was attempted to be delivered last week. She went as far as whispering oh my god under her breath. So much for good customer service.

Honestly not sure why there’s so many bad reviews. I always go here to ship out packages and have never had an issue. The workers at the counter have never been rude to me. I will definitely continue to go here.

The young front desk lady with the black hair was very rude to me. Gave awful customer service, this is the second time this has happened to me. Will not come back again. Very unfortunate.

I'm a Spanish guy, I've been living in the area for over 3 years now and I can count with my fingers the time I walk in say hello and the white tall and fat guy he didn't even bother so say hello back or thanks after I finish my transaction.The last one was "undelivered" mail because they put a sticker on my box saying it was vacant.I'm stuck with that postal office.I'm working my English ?

Apparently can’t find my house, and doesn’t bother to pick up outgoing mail with the flag up. Ugh!!!!!!!

Honestly, I am unsure why this post office has such bad reviews. Every time I go there, the employees are always super nice and helpful. Today I was helped by Katie and Ashley, and they were very helpful! I go pretty often since I run a shop online, and i really have not had any bad experiences! :)

They got rid of the older grumpy, discourteous staff and for a while things were looking up. In the last 6 months I've seen attitudes and service decline again! Sent 3 large Christmas cards and was charged over $3 each but had to send the 4th separately. Went to the Sussex post office and was charged $1.85. Its clear these folks at Germantown don't care, its worth the drive to go to Menomonee Falls.

I've been calling for months now because I haven't received any mail other than junk mail. The lady that answered the phone last time was extremely rude and disrespectful. Don't waste your time with calling this post office, they won't help you. All they do is put you on hold for long periods of time and say there is nothing they can do.
