This would be my 4th time going through petco my first petco I went to greenfield got 2 hamsters one died that’s my first visit my second one was amazing I bought a guinea pig it came home sick and got my other one sick they paid for them to get a vet set up sadly the one passed away because it was so young they gave me a guinea pig for free and covered everything for me this was in Milwaukee then my 3rd/4th time was in Germantown I bought 2 guinea pigs from there and one was

Very displeased with the grooming job they did on my two dog's. Due to Covid-19, they were unable to get groomed until yesterday. Both my dog's are ShihSzu/Bichon mixes. When we picked them up, both dog's were shaved down to their skin. One dog who has white hair was shaven down so much, that you could see her pink skin. I understand they may have been matted, but really? I've never had my dog's look like this, even if they were matted. We brush our dog's everyday. We also paid a large up charge of almost $30 for each dog. I call that robbery! I read an article from PETA, how these chains like Petco and Petsmart hire unexperiened groomer's and don't care about the pet's they groom and are just in it for the money. Shaving a dog so close to the skin is bad for the dog and create all kinds of problem's for them. I'm a dog and animal lover and suggest you not patronize these places. Sadly, they were my only option at the time during this pandemic.

This is one of the only places that has a wide variety of guinea pig items, that being the only reason I shop here. Every time I shop here the place looks a mess and unorganized, racks of random items on display (I thought they were clearance racks or something, nope! Just random racks with random items). The floor looks messy and dirty; really just not cared for. I know there's animals that come in the store but they can still clean the floors at close, just a quick mop helps. And the biggest reason for my one star review is the customer service. The floor staff is usually nice but the cashiers there just make you feel stupid. Especially about their rewards system. Everytime (besides the first time) I go to checkout the girls there are rude and don't offer good customer service. Even a simple "hello" when you walk through the door, or a "how are you today" can change my experience at the store.

Got me a new fur baby and I love this place they got grooming here they got dog training as well I got $20 off for booking a whole package in dog training and $50 rewards they love my fur baby

Very misleading on their pricing! Quoted us a price and asked if we wanted to add a service for $20, but when picking up our pet got charged for nail buffing and de-shedding for $30 that they quoted us 20. I will never bring my dog to Petco ever again. Thought I miss heard her when she told me the price after already putting the credit card in, but no I heard correctly! Manager wouldn’t do anything to make it right, only argued with us and offered no resolution.

Our dog will never go back!! We asked for a "trim" and came back to finf him shaved to his skin. They even shaved his ears to nothing, NEVER AGAIN!!

While shopping I unexpectedly fell in love with a cat that I wanted to adopt. I came back the next day to fill out an adoption application and was told they would fax the application over to haws and that I should call haws Monday morning. When I called haws they said they never received my application. I called petco and was told they would resend fax my application. Fast forward to that afternoon and haws said they too had called petco as well and were told their fax machine was not working. Haws asked them to email my adoption application and petco never emailed the application. So I had to come to haws on Tuesday to fill out a new adoption application. I'm glad a was able to adopt my fur baby; however I found the experience to be unprofessional on petco's end.

I will never take my dog there again for grooming. The skill level of some of the staff is horrible. The woman did not do a good job of cutting his nails and put a laceration/cut on the right side of his face, right near his eye. He was bleeding and need to watch now so he does not get an infection. The bathroom was so dirty and the store was not well managed. Find some where else to take your pet to be groomed. I heard this about Petco before and I gave them a chance. I wish I would have not. Please don't make the same mistake that I did.

I love the staff and selection however, I purchased a sweet one eyed balloon molly yesterday and to my dismay awoke to a deceased lil fishy. Without a second thought I flushed the lil guy before my children could see and I’d have tears flowing as opposed to the necessary hustling required to get them ready and to school on time. Now, remembering the 30 day guarantee, I do some research on your website and feel absolutely foolish upon reading the requirement of photographic proof of death. Which I totally understand! Nowadays you can’t simply trust someone’s word and I’m no different than any other customer.

Usually really like this location, I'll come here over the one that's much closer to my house, but I'm a little disappointed after my last visit. I came in and picked up a nice new pump/filter unit for the tank I keep my Red Ear Slider Turtles around Christmas. When it came time to get new filter substrates (the foam pads) earlier this month I find out through the website for ZooMed (a brand I've always trusted for my reptile care needs) that the unit I purchased is discontinued, making it rather difficult to find the replacement parts. Why sell units when people won't be able to get their hands on the replaceable parts, that need to be replaced for cleanliness and functional reasons? Still like this location, but rather annoyed by this inconvenience.

We have been using their groomers for years and have been very satisfied with their work on our Golden Retriever. Plus, the groomers are always so nice and polite. The price for grooming is very reasonable. We now have a German Shepherd that will also be groomed by them.
