We stopped in for a beta fish. They have a wonderful selection of fish bit. we found the habitats and accessories a bit out of our budget, so we bought the fish here and a new tank, and accessories elsewhere.

Most always a friendly clerk to help out if needed. My puppy has peed twice in store and they have never made me feel guilty about it!

I took my puppy to the Canine Good Citizen training class at Petco in Germantown. Leia is an excellent trainer and helped my puppy successfully pass the CGC test. The class was not only about passing the test though. Leia gave me great pointers and suggestions on how to best handle my dog. She really understands humans and dogs.

Employees were helpful. We went to buy a fish and waited 10 minutes after finding an employee to try and help us. Maybe a help button by the fish tanks so employees know there is a customer.
Otherwise- very well run store. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a puppy food that had no poisonus copper sulphate that too many dog food manufacturers put in dog food. I finally found some here. It seems that our dogs food is a good place to dispose of plating waste.

The store staff aren't as friendly as expected. I'd appreciate not being followed around the store, rather than ask me if I need help or something . HOWEVER, the grooming department is the best! Shout out to our groomer "Kelly", she Rocks!! ????????

If I could give a zero star I would. I ordered (1 codeage vitamin supplement for cats and 2 thunder diffuser refills) online (April 10, 2024), used a gift card and then paid the remainder on my credit card. Order said it would be here on April 18, 2024... doesn't show up. I keep going to tracking to see it never updated (which happens), but then I check today and still no update, package not picked up.. UPS or FedEx can't give me any info. I reach out to customer service and the agent tells me the order was packaged, but the carrier NEVER picked it up and she's sorry, this never happens. So I can either accept a refund or replacements.. I NEED the items for senior cats I foster and then for the puppies coming in. So she places a replacement order and ends the chat. I realize the shipping will take another 2 weeks; I can't wait that long for the supplements, I reach back out again and say just ship the plug-ins, then I'm told the plug-ins I want are no longer in stock and I can't get them. Awesome, so I tell them just cancel everything and refund me. Issue.. I used a gift card so I need that refunded, I don't have the GC number anymore so he will send an egc (e-Gift Card). I look back online and I need to order back-ups, I reach back out for the egc and it hadn't been processed... I don't know what's going on, but I will never deal with Petco again. TERRIBLE
