Love this place! I'm doing the puppy training program and the doggy daycare. The training session was with a super friendly and knowledgeable trainer. She gave reasons behind why we were training the puppy in the way we were for each command. The doggy daycare is HUGE. They have experienced staffThank you

My puppy loves The doggy daycare. It's a huge facility and the dogs are well taken care of all day. I also use their training classes and the facilitators are excellent.

I have been going to Happy Hounds for about 9 years with my 3 dogs. They absolutely love it there and always come home with the biggest smiles on their faces. Michelle and Diane and their staff are wonderful working with the dogs. They are true dog lovers and very skilled at understanding animal behavior. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to get their dog or dogs socialized with other dogs. I have complete trust in the staff at Happy Hounds.

I wish I had a proper review. I really wanted to use their services but 2 voicemail in a week's time and nothing. I'm a pretty patient person. This was just unprofessional...sadly.I'm not putting 1 star because I usually support local business. I'm weirdly heartbroken.

I’m from Chicago staying in Wisconsin for about a year with a new puppy that needs some socializing. Found this daycare which is the closest one from where I am staying and so I gave them a call. After many attempts on the phone I decided to go in person and I find out, no one was in the office. Gave it a shot the next day and it took about 5 calls to get through someone and they tell me they are held back by an extreme amount of emails and they will get back to me. Owner of the business asked for the dog’s vaccinations which I have sent the previous day. She tells me that I forgot to send one more file so I resent it and was told she will get back to me as soon as possible. It’s been WEEKS and I try calling almost every day and I get no answer. The disappointment I have is surreal and coming from a daycare in Chicago with 5 star reviews and working as management there, I can say this is the worst service I have ever received and I don’t know how they are still in business.

I love Happy Hounds. I like that it's not a chain and so personal to each dog. We have been going there for over 20 years. Our first two who lived to 17 and 18 went there all their lives. Now we're on to our next two and we started them at 10 weeks. We've done everything from the puppy classes, to obedience, to grooming and of course doggy day care there. The owner Michelle, is wonderful and gets to know her clients on a personal level. I can't say enough about how well trained the staff is and how well ran this Doggy day care is. It's where dogs go to have fun and socialize, but also get very very tired out! They practically can't lift their head to eat after a day there. lol

Diane is amazing and so are the high school girls who work there. Michelle comes off extremely rude and does not know how far her tone goes. She very clearly does not have experience with rescue dogs and how they may adapt at different paces. We took a class with Diane and absolutely loved it and learned so much. We were told Michelle was also great, but her attitude and defiance of knowing your dog better than you do is disheartening. We tried to enroll our dog in daycare on the long days we work and Michelle dictated what days my dog would be welcome and called me the first day in the morning and said my dog needed to be picked up because he was nervous. He was there 1 hour and I was still charged a full day and told he could only come for half days. With my husband And I working full time, half days aren't an option but we wanted our Corgi to get socialization and playtime with friends. That was the only reason for daycare. Then she told me she had sprayed my dog in the face when my dog barked once at her and my corgi is now terrified of spray bottles. All in all, if Diane and the high school girls were the only part of Happy Hounds, this would get 5+ stars, but Michelle's attitude, demeaning tone, and dictation of daycare days and hours had us pulling our dog out. She told my husband he could love our dog and still punish him when she had no idea how hard we've worked with him and how bad his life was before we rescued him. I hope Michelle gets it together because other people had warned us about her attitude and lack of professionalism and I see now how bad it is. The news is starting to spread and I'd hate to see this business go down because of an unprofessional owner who does not respect her employees. She basically barks orders at them. No pun intended.
