Great place for affordable meats. They also have a small gift/antique area.

I had a coupon for Schwai's that I wanted to use, so my family and I made it one of our stops on a Saturday morning. The store is gross. Junk "antiques" in half of it, multiple large display cases that weren't working and looked like they were from the 1970s, and the only meat available in the case that was working was meat for slicing. Nothing fresh and unfrozen like chicken breasts, steaks, or ground meat. All of the frozen items were in chest freezers, which made it difficult to dig through compared to standing freezers, and nothing was labeled with a weight or price, so it's a blind guess as to how much you're spending. The owner was pleasant, but the lady working behind the counter was flustered and rude. I asked to have one of the packages of brats weighed so I could try to figure out what things cost. She rolled her eyes, heavily sighed, and slightly ripped the brats out of my hand to weigh them. She had calmed down by the time I eventually checked out, but I didn't appreciate the reaction to a reasonable question earlier.I wouldn't go back. There are so many other meat markets north of Milwaukee that look better, have a better selection, and I've not experienced poor customer service at.

Four stars for how good their brats are but what a run down shop. I can't express enough how run down their store is. I hope where they make the brats isn't the same.

When it comes to meat markets this is where I go. Their flavored brats as well as pork and chicken and Italian are the best. They have a variety of beef sticks and so much more. The only issue is trying to find buns to fit them.

Best brats and sausages ever! We drive 25 miles round trip to get them. They are much longer than regular brat buns. The hot Italians are really hot. Very good beef sticks too!

Love their meat. Customer service just sucks. 2nd time in a row I stopped for sausage and had no one come out to check me out. Never again.

Best Brats Ever. Purchased the regular brats at the West Bend farmers market. Par boiled them for a few minutes and then cooked on the electric grill until golden brown. Fantastic

Great meat of all sorts and the service is fantastic! Some people have to remember it is a meat and sausage shop-not a gourmet deli! They will always be honest with their prices-you need to ask!

We share a part of cow butchered by them at a very expensive price and the cuts sad. In one cut a chuck roast , of which was more than half fat and gristle.

Schwai's is amazing. Since closing in Cedarburg I drive to Fredonia. The key is that their sausage is not made from trimmings rather from prime cuts. Ask for what you want, like, beef tenderloin, thick cut pork chops, bone in ribeyes....they have a method of freezing brats in particular which upon defrosting and cooking is as if nothing was ever frozen!
