Called on Friday night, was told I can't reserve a wood chipper and wake up early Saturday to come get it: first come. I called at 7 on Saturday, told it's still there. Get there at 7:30, told it's been reserved and I can't have it. Screw this place.

Worst experience ever! I bought windows and paid for installation. They brought the wrong windows with them the first time, they rescheduled twice after that, then finally did show up months later. They started by tearing the old windows apart, then stopped before finishing installation and just put the old wood back on, that they had just clawed off!! They said it would be more expensive than they originally agreed upon, because of rotting wood, which the original estimate literally says it covered all rotting, "seen and unforeseen"! They've acknowledged they are in the wrong based on the terms of the estimate, but offer nothing more than an apology that we we will not be getting what we paid for! After missing 4 days of work to have their installers not show or finish the job for one excuse after another, an apology just is not enough!

DELIVERY SUCKS. we were expecting a delivery. we were home when the drivers arrived. there was a little snow on the driveway so they would not pull into the drive or get out of their truck they just drove away. i called and they refused to come back. now I have to wait another 5 days before I get to waste another day waiting for delivery. Never again Home Depot. awful. awful. awful.

I recently ordered a Weber grill for customer pick up today. I ordered at 9am, was ready at 10am, and went to pick it up around 6pm. So I went to the customer service counter and was “helped” by a very distracted woman working the counter and was instructed to move my car to the pickup awning area and ask for assistance there. Upon arrival, a worker was very confused and was looking around for a grill for me, and didn’t seem to know what he was doing or looking for. I was then told to go BACK to the customer service counter and ask them again. I go to talk to the same woman who seemed confused. She then looked again at the receipt that SHE printed me earlier, and saw it might be in the garden area. Another 5 minutes go by while she calls people to see if they can find it, they say they cannot locate it. I decide to give up and go look myself as I’m getting absolutely horrific assistance. Lo and behold I find the grill in the aisle by myself and wheel it myself out to my own car (which I moved back to the customer service area again after being given incorrect instructions). I get help from a kind customer walking into the store to lift it into my truck. I then notice that the grill is missing pins on the lid when it was assembled by the associates. I then go back in and find a new one in box, again, by myself. I ask a young associate to give us that grill and we’ll bring the “assembled” one back in. He grabs a couple friends and they helped me more in 2 minutes than I got in the 45+ minutes prior. I cannot express enough how awful the experience was. I’ll likely never order anything for pickup there ever again, if even buy anything from Home Depot again after this debacle. Which is really a shame because it was my go to, but since there is a Lowe’s a half mile away and a Menards basically across the street, it’s not going to be much of an inconvenience. Truly, ridiculously annoyed, frustrated, and disappointed.

I had a water heater installed 2 years ago. The installation was done promptly. The Home Depot website states 3 year warranty on installation labor. Cold water supply now has a leak at the fitting the installer used. Contacted store and they said the installation warranty is only 1 year unless you pay for the additional 2 years at time of service. That was never offered or explained. They offered to send the installer back out to repair at a minimum $125 charge. Disappointed that they do not stand behind their installation as advertised. I won't make the mistake of using their installation service again.

Reserved a box truck online. Called to confirm that it would be held for me since I had only that day available to move - they confirmed. After waiting in line for 20 minutes (not a complaint - they were busy), I was informed that they never reserve or hold outdoor equipment. "Then why was it confirmed to me?" The response, "We do not reserve or hold outdoor equipment," again... Asked to speak with someone else about this issue and was told a manager would be up in 5 minutes to speak with me. 35 minutes later, I left without ever seeing a manager. On my way out, another employee asked what happened and he ended up shouting and cursing about the poor management at the location.I still don't mind shopping at Home Depot, but management needs to consider responding to their customers.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. From the time I walked in until the time I checked out I was followed around by either a plain clothed store cop or a plain clothed cop. After 15 minutes I finally turned around and asked him what his problem was and why he felt the need to follow me around. He shock his head and gave a smirky look with a thumbs up.

get a delivery service that delivers and doesn't make excuses. we're running late and it would take to long is not a valid reason not to deliver. why did I spend $1000+ on refrigerator if you don't care how and when its delivered? will think long and hard before home depot is a place I spend my money in the future. and yes, $150 for my inconvenience is insulting.

Matt Hermann was a big help! he helped me and my brother find all the supplies we needed, to renew my kitchen. I recommend this Home Depot. They also have great customer service, helped me put all my belongings into our car. Very nice people !

This Home Depot took my money for a lift they don't even have! I reserved a 50 foot lift on their web page. I spoke to a representative on the phone a week in advance and pre-paid $650 for the rental fee and delivery. Until this point, everything was great, beyond professional! On the day I needed the lift, it never showed up during the time window that The Home Depot provided me. They call and say they don't actually have a 50 foot lift! They offered no solutions like trying to get a lift from a different store, or a different day, or giving me a coupon for a future purchase. Nobody knows how this happened, and the manager never called me back. Please don't waste your time renting from The Home Depot.

Had someone in the paint department extremely rude and lie to me telling me she tinted the paint the color I wanted when she didn't!! Get all the way home to realize it wasn't done correctly and now am stuck with it!!!

Called at 11:17 to rent a truck. The customer service rep asked if we could be there soon to pick it up and I said yes. She then asked how long. I told her it takes us 15 minutes to get there and we'd leave in a couple minutes. She said we have to get there at 11:35 which, by the time we got off the phone, was 16 minutes away. We tried, got there a minute too late, and they said we didn't get there at the time we were told so it's gone. I said we were given a totally unrealistic amount of time and they replied with "we can only give you 15-20 minutes." I wish that the rep would have just said something like "I'm not sure you'll be able to make it in enough time with our rental policy." Then we could have tried somewhere else instead of wasting our time.
