The room was ok, but the painting fell and showed a poor attempt to hang it up

Wr stayed in this hotel last 2 days. We chose it becouse of location, free breakfast and free parking. Price was on average the same with hotels in surrounding area. However everything that was advertise was falls. When we checked in we were told breakfast was complementary from 6:30 - 9:30. We got down to breakfast area at 8:20 and everything was empty, I mean everything. I went to sip a orange juice machine was shut down. Asked in lobby what is going on, I got answer that person from breakfast had a doktor appointment and she left!!!! What a sorry excuse. Hotel was fully booked and I did see a lots of angry guest. Needles to say, server who was allegedly left to doctor was cleaning everything and she left at 9:00 am after she cleaned and removed all the pans in breakfast area. So we didn't get a breakfast that day. We went out of hotel that morning and came back about 7-8 hours later to our room. Room was not cleaned and our towels were not replaced. For $ 170 a night that is a last thay could do you would think. I have called lobby again, and she told ny didnI order my room to be clean, otherwise they don't do that. I advised nobody told.me that at the time of checking in. She didn't have a answer. I asked than can someone bring to us extra 2 towels, but lobby advise they are bussy at the moment and they can do it later. I have said OK and we went out for that evening for our planned din er party. We got back after midnught and there was nowere room to park around hotel. I have went to lobby to ask were to park my vehicle and they advise me to park to walgrens besede the hotel!?!. I managed to find one spot there and we got back to room. Room was not cleaned again and we never got our towels. Next morning we got to brekfast at 8:30 and food was there this time, but now tables were so dirty from people who were eithing there earlier. I know some guest can be careless
or just uneducated but hotel.personel should clean that or endlist remind guest. Took me 5 min to clean table from.all the mess in order to havebreakfast. Needles to say, never ever this hotel again. Stay away and use hilton and marriot Up next exit. For extra $ 5-10 you get 10 years never hotel with non of problems I experienced
this last 2 days. Only reason I was not there was because this was our last moment trip and they were already all booked. Reviews they ha e for this hotel are not correct and proba ly paid for. This hotel is not worth it the price.

Absolutely horrible staffing. Staff was rude and demeaning. The pool was closed, they also did not tell me that when I called to make my reservation. I was told if it’s that big of a deal they will put a sprinkler in the yard for us. I was charged an extra $250.00 fee they did not tell me about. I cancelled my stay and it took 28 days to get refunded the money.

I was in town for work, stayed here for 10 days. Room was great lots of space. Various restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was always hot and fresh. Tammy was outstanding in the mornings. She also did the socials at night. She’s very friendly. I had an issue in my room with the sprinkler leaking, I reported it to Porscha and she immediately found me another room with no hesitation. Highly recommend this hotel.

Horrible GM Vee Vee, worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This hotel is dirty, facilities are broken, it is not properly maintained and the manager is disrespectful.
1st night the room had a loud mechanical banging all night long. Woke the baby and toddler up. I recorded the sound, the front desk staff came to the 5th floor and heard the noise herself, told me to talk to the mgr the next day. Needless to say, my family didn’t sleep well. In the morning when I voiced my concerns, staff member Marco told me the manager was too busy to speak with me, that an engineer could look at it but there were no available rooms to switch into.
Vee Vee called me later on my cell phone and told me another room was available in an hour. That room was just as dirty and broken. Low water pressure, stove burners didn’t work, bathroom locks were broken, thermostat was broken. There were only two bowls in the unit for a two bedroom suite. Staff member Jeremy was the only help. He let us use another unit to cook food in. He also helped me get into the broken laundry facilities to retrieve my clothes from the dryer.
The next morning at 7:45 (on my 10th wedding anniversary) I was woken up by someone trying to get in my room, thank God I locked the latch bc I had four children in the unit. I quickly dressed and opened the door but no one was there. I went to the front desk and asked Vee Vee which employee tried to get into my room? She said it was maintenance to fix the stove and that she tried to call the room 15 mins before he came. Wow! How unprofessional Vee Vee! To call someone at 7:30am on their vacation with an unexpected repair, and when they don’t answer you just let yourself into their room!! I was appalled and she is clueless as to why.
Save your peace and stay anywhere else. We stayed two nights at the holiday inn express down the road, it was 100 times better and cheaper.

Unacceptable Stay at Staybridge - Safety Concerns, Broken Amenities, Lied About by Staff
Disappointing Experience:
Our recent stay at Staybridge was a nightmare. Broken furniture, a malfunctioning shower (no handle, leaking), and staff indifference ruined our planned relaxation.
Safety Issues and Unhelpful Staff:
Despite notifying Miranda about the issues upon arrival, repairs were never made. Porscha later claimed no one could fix it and refused a refund if we left early – unacceptable with young children!
Miranda Lied to Third Party:
Miranda misrepresented the situation to a third-party representative, claiming we wanted to leave early (a lie), further frustrating us. We just wanted the problems fixed!
Forced Early Departure:
With unresolved issues and staff offering no solutions (not even a different room!), we were forced to leave early, losing money on unused nights.
No Apology or Refund:
Despite requesting a refund (full or even for the unused day), Miranda (claiming to speak for management) denied it. Our calls were ignored, and the matter was closed without the promised contact from the general manager.
Choose Wisely:
The lack of response to these concerns, particularly the inoperable shower, raised serious safety issues for our family, especially with young children. Additionally, some staff members displayed a cold and dismissive attitude when we brought these issues to their attention. This behavior was not only unhelpful and disrespectful but just soooo unfortunately not needed at that time.
We specifically chose this hotel to unwind, de-stress from work, and create positive memories: to come away from work/home stress; to spend time together with our children- my husband and I work a lot and sometimes have rare occasions lately to unwind together. We also aimed to use this time to reflect on my father, who was no longer with us, a veteran, who was also a good man. However, the constant inconvenience overshadowed this sentiment. We thought this would be the best place due to its location from the cemetery and we have stayed at many IHG hotels and have loved our time there.
Unfortunately, the unresolved issues and staff interactions prevented us from achieving this goal.
During communication with an external representative about our early departure options, a staff member (Miranda) misrepresented the situation, claiming we requested to leave early hours prior without mentioning the unresolved problems. This added another layer of frustration to our experience because it’s like “Why are you lying”? . This in fact was a lie. We had small children, and very little time together. WE WANTED THE ISSUE RESOLVED. WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!! WE DID EVERYTHING INCLUDING, ask for another room, WE WERE WILLING TO UPGRADE despite the issues and complicated staff. The STAFF just kept stating “I’m SORRY, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO AND IF YOU LEAVE EARLY, WE WILL NOT ISSUE YOU A REFUND.” It felt like a prison at that point. Not matter what we chose we were out of something. If We left- we were out of two days of hotel fees and time OR stay and be so uncomfortable and worried about our children.
This experience left us stressed, out of pocket, and without the relaxation we deserved.
We chose to spend our money and time at STAYBRIDGE. We were penalized for it.
TO THIS DAY- THE HOTEL HAS NEVER ISSUED A REFUND OR any ATTEMPT TO MAKE RIGHT the horrible stay we experienced at STAYBRIDGE-
Just saying you are sorry is not okay, STAYBRIDGE!
Please do not respond with your general r

Jeremy is awesome. Great service. Love the evening cocktail hours. Can't remember her name but she does a great job also running the f&b services.

For many years I have been staying at the hotel on and off during business trips. Unfortunately, I have to say that the rooms and furnishings are increasingly showing their age. Room control on the air conditioning doesn't work. Loud fan noises from the building technology. Due to the furniture and carpets, there are rather unpleasant smells when the window is closed. The overall impression is increasingly worn - "getting old". Seating furniture and outdoor seating outside also fit in well. You don't really like sitting on certain cushions.
Only the friendly service is great as before. It's a bit of a shame and one or two renovations would be helpful.

They charged my credit card a $150 cleaning fee for grape jelly on the ceiling. It wasn’t even our room that had the jelly on the ceiling. I got my money back, but it took multiple calls to the manager and corporate. I received my refund four days later. Super frustrating!!!

Had an unfortunate turn of events on my way up north for Memorial Day weekend and needed a last minute hotel reservation. I showed up late on a Friday and the awesome manager Vee Vee was so accommodating. She was able to get me a room at a great price and was friendly throughout. I could see her working hard for other customers as well as keeping the place clean. While I don’t have a need to stay overnight in town again, if I ever do, this will be where I stay.

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Must be the new ownership group..could not adjust the thermostat in the room, there was no bottled water in the room or coffee, they don’t provide any room delivery at all and they only had 1 yes 1 bottle of water in this entire hotel. I suggest you start providing some hospitality or you will lose guests.
