“With the price of gold as high as it is, I brought some old jewelry here to sell. The gentleman is as honest and fair and genuinely pleasant as all the other reviewers say. This was a great experience. Some jewelry had a little bit of sentimental value (although the $ value outweighed that). This gentleman is friendly and kind. He explained everything about what I had, what it is worth retail, what he will do with it, etc. I know he gave me the highest price of any other dealer in the Racine-Milwaukee area. It was nearly an hour drive and totally worth it. You can't do better than doing business here.”
“I’m beyond grateful for running across Mid Continental Gems. My mother in law was looking to get some old rings fixed that had a lot of sentimental value. Other jewelers I took it to quoted me and arm and a leg. Mid Continetal was beyond reasonable and you could feel the small business family owned feel. “I was told by some people that they heard rumors that he wouldn't give you a good price. However, I went in there with a small collection and he told me how much everything was on an estimate and which coins were silver and how much silver was in there. I sold him 2oz of silver for 80 bucks and silver was going for 42 at the time. I think they were wrong about what they heard. I am happy with the service I received.”
