I’ve been a gym client here for over 8 years and can easily credit my health and strength to habits and expectations for myself that I developed here. Dave takes each individual into account - adjusting and modifying for unique abilities, challenges and injuries. There’s no smoke and mirrors, the approach is straightforward and simple to integrate in your life. Put the work in and you’ll see the the results. Classes are full of down-to-earth people fitting fitness into a variety of lifestyles. The general environment is encouraging, supportive and welcoming. When they say “influencers” or “centers of influence”...well David is one of them. He is one of the most positive people I know and has made one of the greatest impressions on me. I worked out with him one on one over ten years ago and was in the best shape of my life in Milwaukee. I moved to Florida for eight years and was just crushed when I had to leave my Trainer, David. When I moved back to Milwaukee with my family over a year and a half ago I knew I wanted him back on my radar screen and I signed up for one on one training. I have had a challenging year and he has been nothing but positive, flexible, understanding and compassionate...plus he has a no excuses policy and gets the job done with ensuring your workout and mind is it’s best. The best part is that he constantly makes you laugh during your workout. His gym is clean and simple and it is everything you need - it is all you need! Whether you choose one on one training or group fitness, David ensures you reach your fullest potential each workout for mind and body!

David is a very motivational fitness professional. His classes are fun and challenging and appeal to a wide range of ages and fitness levels. He is great about offering options for higher or lower intensity. I would definitely recommend 44 Fitness and Martial Arts to all ages and skill levels.

I highly recommend 44 Fitness and Martial Arts. I started with zero knowledge of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Everyone was very patient and helpful, and the structure of class easily helped me build a strong base for learning more moves. Definitely a great workout with great people!

I started training with David almost 4.5 years ago in jiu jitsu. He's a great instructor and makes students comfortable in a sport that can be awkward to learn. He trains people to develope solid fundamentals, but also adds some flashy stuff to keep training fun and interesting.
