I called for an oil change yesterday. Asked how much and was told about 49.99 with tax. I come in today to get the oil change, he asks me what kind of oil and I said whatever it’s supposed to get and I’m unsure what it is because I just bought the car. Well then it comes to pay… $78.60!!!!! He said well you wanted the synthetic like it’s supposed to get. Well he never said it would be more than quoted!!! Nor did he inform me it was pricier than he first quoted!!! Had he told me it would be $80 I would have left immediately!!! $80 for less than a 15 minute oil change!!! Absolutely will not return!!! This is exactly why small businesses go under! Over pricing!!! Any business owner knows if you quote a price and it’s going to be higher than you confirm with customer!!! What if I wouldn’t have had it? Smh. I won’t use local businesses again. Driving to Madison for an oil change even with gas is cheaper than what this man charged me. I had gotten an oil change here and I was a Victim to the negligence and incompetence. It was two months later my low oil light had come on. Roght as I get into to work minutes after the light had come on my engine had died. Not turning on just clicking. I have it towed to ford to have the master mechanic at ford tell me when the oil was changed there was a stick screwed into the seal of the oil filter causing it to leak. $6800 dollars later and a new engine on a 2016 I was basically stuck eating the cost as he says I can’t prove where the stick came from. DONT EVER GO HERE! THE OWNER IS A SCAM ARTIST AND I HONESTLY DOES NOT KNOW GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE.
