Even though my experience ended sad because I had to put my collie Chloe down. The staff was very helpful and so caring. They worked with me on trying IV fluids to see if her levels would drop since ER costs were out of my price range and it was a whim that it would help her. They laid out every option and were transparent on all the prices. They gave me all time I needed with all their care and understanding. Even let me run home to grab my other pup to be there when she passed. I am very appreciative and grateful and look forward to bringing all my animals to this clinic in the future.

My mom’s dog is 19 and it’s finally time for us to say goodbye. Her vet wanted around $500 for this so I decided I’d call around and see what other places are charging. This vet could have made this a very easy choice for us and could have only charged about $260 for us to put him down but because we aren’t clients of this vet office, they want to charge an “exam fee” which is $100-150 extra! This policy is ludicrous! My vet in fort only charges $45 for an exam so for this place to charge 3x that for an exam that isn’t even necessary because he’s a 19yr old dog that just needs to be put to sleep shows a lack of compassion and a love of money that is truly disgusting in a field like this. This is already going to be one of the most difficult days for our family but they want to get every penny out of us they can. And the only reason why they’re “cheaper” than the place my mom goes to is because I didn’t ask for how much it would cost to get his remains back because I figured we couldn’t afford it after my mom was told $500. If they didn’t charge this ridiculous and unnecessary exam fee, we’d have made the appointment and would be able to use that $ to get his remains back since we’ve never not gotten our pets remains back. But with that policy we simply couldn’t afford to do both. I shouldn’t have to make that choice because you want to charge money for an exam that’s not needed!
Policies like this show where your true priorities are (which is making as much money as you can off of the worst day a pet owner could face & not making sure a dog suffers no longer than necessary while the owners come up with the money to pay you) and I will make sure that everyone I know hears about this. If this is “common practice”, that is no excuse and then shame on all of you who think that is acceptable. It is disgraceful to add unnecessary charges onto appointments like these. And why do you charge $100-150 for an exam when Brightside charges like $45???

My dog and I just moved here from Arkansas and I was super nervous about finding a new vet who would be patient with his anxiety. I was so happy with our appointment today with Dr. Wolff, she took the time to make sure that Ozzy was happy and comfortable and gave us great advice! I’m happy to be leaving the vet with a positive experience for once, thank you Dr. Wolff!!

We have trusted this veterinarian office for several years now. In fact, I don’t trust anyone else with my furry babies. They are kind, understanding and they are quick to schedule.
Dr Brossman is our favorite. She is kind and understanding, and truly cares about our animals.
Highly recommended!!

* Horriffic bed side manner when told my daughter's her dog was dying!* Hypocrisy with prescribing meds. One dog needs bloodwork for incontinence while the other one doesn't? Both are just senior dogs! No logic, Except a different doctor named wolf who was just chasing exam fees!* Insist upon new vet call even though the dog was only seen 12 days earlier for same issue and the same issue was discussed, But because Dr. Koenig's not available due to his part-time status, so wolf insists on a new exam fee/vet call and now bloodwork. Even though the other dog didn't need it and it was the same thing, simple incontinence due to old age!!* Office manager can't notice herself.* manger hasn't answered my question on whether or not I'm going to get the prescription that Dr. Koenig ordered for my dog on January 8th. I would've had it already, but it froze so I wanted Eye ointment, that was not froze. So I am waiting, but she will not reassure me that I can get it any longer, because I want to leave the clinic even though I paid for the entire visit But they were out the day I was in the office! So, that's theft Since that is one of the two reasons, I brought My oldest dog in. The other reason wolf is disregarding Because she wasn't the treating vet!* never did acknowledge the death of our dog!I started going to this clinic 13 years ago! Back then, they used to care! Dr Neff Left and took most of the clinics Integrity with him. Dr. Koenig is down to a couple days a week and retiring very shortly and when he leaves he will take the last of it.Vickie and Mary have been there as long as I can remember. THEY ARE EXCEPTIONAL receptionists And WONDERFUL people in general!BUT RUN IF You want any loyalty, honest, Vet care, your heart spared, and your wallet intact! All they care about is money!!Picture below is a picture of a dog they refused to sew up because they closed in two hours, so this couple left the clinic

The staff are extremely friendly. I thought the veterinarian was a little cold with her diagnosis of my dog's terminal disease. Their services are pricey compared to others within 30 miles with a better bedside manner.

We've been taking pets to this clinic for decades. Most recently, our Weimaraners have received excellent care from initial puppy vaccinations to the inevitable end-of-life events. Animal Clinic Doctors and staff provide excellent care to the patients, as well as providing excellent coaching and information to the pet owners regarding their pet's healthcare. We are lucky to have this clinic in our city.
