Brought in a lower unit for a rebuild and to get a new skeg welded on. While the rebuild was successful and the skeg looks original. No primer was used when it was painted resulting in paint coming off first time out. Price was astronomical. For a few hundred dollars more I could have bought a brand new lower unit. Will not return nor recommend due to extraordinarily high pricing.

We just bought a pontoon from Mike Moon and we couldn't ask for a better deal or nicer people to work with. It is refreshing doing business with an honest dealer and his family.

Bought a used Pontoon from Mike and family and I had them install a few things. Mike said it "might be done by the weekend" and sure enough it was. Great service and great Technician's. I wound up taking my bass boat there that sunk and needed some electrical work. Again they did a thorough job at a good price resulting in a functional boat again. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I have a hard time trusting boat mechanics but I dont have that problem any longer. Thanks for the great experience!

Just bought a boat from here. Found it on craigslist. Had Great experiences thruout. I think i called or emailed 4 or 5 times. Never pushy. He gave me a approx on a trade. He even emailed when the factory offered a rebate. I came and everything was good and was within his range on my trade. Place was not new and shiny and my dad even commented on how clean it was. There was no were to sit but wasn't a real issue, i will take it just for the fact i dealt with the owner. Small place which works out as i like when i can support small businesses. Thanks Mike.

My cousin and I always go up to the Chippewa Flowage every year over labor day week. We were driving on the highway just south of Fond du Lac and got rear ended by a Mack truck, damaging the trailer for my cousin's boat. We got the boat and trailer to Moon Marine shortly after and the owner repaired all of the damage to to trailer and boat within a few hours. Our vacation was saved due to Moon Marine! Thank you so much to this business and their great customer service!

Place is dirty. I had a drink and the cup was dirty. Lipstick still on it. Never going back. They don't care about your business. The owner just cares about is self.over price on the boats. Next time try and give me a clean class buddy. Take my business elsewhere

I first found out about this company Moon Marine through Craigslist. I answered an ad for a Tracker boat. I called Moon marine and spoke with the owner Mike Moon about the boat at Great length.Mike Moon answered many of my technical questions, and I was satisfied with the answers then. I then asked him if it would be possible to add a 9.9 kicker motor and separate controls onto this boat. Mike said it shouldn't be a problem, and that he actually had two 9.9 Mercury Motors that he wanted to get rid of, so dispensing with one of them would be really good for him. I asked Mike how much it would be, he said I'll call you back with the price. About an hour later Mike called me back, and told me the price, and I was very satisfied.I asked Mike if I could fill out a credit application so that I could buy the boat. Mike emailed me a credit application which I promptly printed out, filled out, scanned , and then returned to him. I emailed it off around 8 p.m. that night. I called Mike Moon the next day around 2 pm, and asked him about the status of my credit application. Mike said at that time that he did not know the status, and he would call me and let me know when he knew. I did not hear from Mike for the rest of the day.At around 8:30 the next morning I received a phone call from Mike, and he left a voicemail on my phone informing me that yes I had been approved for the entire amount of the boat, but somebody had put a deposit down on the boat, and it was as good as sold.As you can imagine, I immediately called him back and had some Choice words with him regarding him selling the boat out from underneath me, a move I would consider Shady at best, and possibly Criminal. As I spoke with Mike on the phone, it became increasingly obvious to me that he did not care at all that he had sold the boat out from underneath me, I asked him how he could do something like that? To which Mike responded with a snearing laugh: "sorry, sometimes you don't get everything in life that you want". As if I had done something wrong. Then he began to inform me about how much money the guy that was purchasing the boat had. At this point I asked Mike if my credit application had come in before he had taken the money for the down payment. Now Mike Moon then began to shudder, and shake in his voice. And then hung up on me.I'm not exactly sure why a person that owns a business would act in this deviant Behavior, but I would like this review to be a warning to anyone out there that is thinking about doing business with this company or this man. This person Mike moon is a shyster, and a skunk of the highest order. I wouldn't trust this man to watch a peanut for me. I will have this post as a warning to anyone, do not do business with this man or this company. You will regret it I promise you!I have notified the local chapter of my muskies Inc Club i am a member for tge last 12 years, about these nefarious dealings with Mike Moon. I have notified the Better Business Bureau and have filed a complaint with them. I have called The Fond du Lac police department and filed a report, as i can only be unsure of what he Mr. Moon might do with the personal information he obviously didn't need for the loan for a boat he had already sold without notifying me before i got the loan. I have called the Wisconsin district attorney, and am awaiting a call back. I also have contacted Craigslist to have all of Mr. Moons ads on their forum blocked. If this cannot be ubtained, then i will immediately flag ANY of Moon marines ads as scams immediately .I hope that this review helps anyone doing business with this company. Do not do business with this company you will regret it!

I bought a Tracker boat from Moon Marine about three months ago. I would assume the same boat Micheal Farmer was interested in. I had called Mike Monday morning to talk about the boat he was very informative about the questions I had. After work I drove straight to the dealership looked the boat over. He told me there was another person interesting in the boat at the time. After looking at it for some time asking questions and getting them answered I decided to put a down payment on it, and told him I would be back with the rest of the money tomorrow. The one thing I did notice upon looking at the boat was the drivers seat pedestal was very high to the point I could barely get my legs under the steering wheel as I am tall at 6'6". Mike says that they would cut the pedestal down for me. When I showed up the next day the seat was down and was perfect for me. About 3 weeks ago I decided to get my boat out and get it started in the driveway with a hose on it. It fired right up but I did notice that the stream of water wasn't very strong. I thought it could be an impeller issue I called Mike up and he said to bring it down tomorrow and he would look at it. Upon getting to moon marine they hooked it up started it and although the stream was a little stronger I still was concerned about it. Mike said that he thought it was ok because with a hose you dont get a real strong stream with my model motor. Then he said the motor is an 2005 I sold this boat new and I dont ever remember putting an impeller in it and even though I dont believe it needs it we will replace it, free of charge no parts or labor cost. That right there explains the kind of person Mike Moon is he doesn't just care about your money he genuinely wants you to have a great experience and goes out of his way to please you. My boat was ready to be picked up the next day and has ran flawlessly.I urge you to go into Moon Marine if you have any boating needs new or used I'm sure Mike will be able to help you with whatever you need and you will not be disappointed. There are alot of boat dealers around me alot closer than Moon Marine. I will be making the 1 hour drive to Moon Marine for all of my boating needs from now on. His professionalism is top notch he aims to please you!I also urge you to look past all of the 1 star reviews as they all seem to stem from Michael Farmer. All posted at the same time. I'm not here to start an argument but the only thing criminal here is the 1 star reviews from Micheal Farmer and his friends and family. I'm sure he had submitted his credit information to get the loan on that Monday that I put the down payment on the boat. Also if Mike Moon only cared about money he would have not accepted my down payment and sold the boat to Micheal Farmer as he was planning on putting a kicker motor on it which I didnt have the cash to do at the time. I will be a Moon Marine customer for life and am proud to have done business with Mike and his team.

Everyone is very nice and not pushy at all! They let us take our time to look around and ask questions.
