As of late, their service has truly gone down hill. My doctor had sent over a prescription to be filled. I phoned the next day to make sure it was ready for pick up. The robo voice you get did not want to just let me through to the operator. They wanted the prescription number. I hung up, called back and asked for the operator first thing. The robo voice said "Did you know your pharmacy technician can help you with most questions." I kept pushing zero until it finally went through to a person. The person who answered the phone talked just like a robot. Very quiet and monotone. They finally said they could fill the prescription and it would be ready to pick up after 10:00 tomorrow. It was only 3:00 on a Friday that they are open until 10:00 pm. Seriously? How could it possibly take that long? Pathetic.

The manager on on duty was so rude. She didn't want to do a price adjustment to their website/app and was told to order online if we wanted the price, to come and do a pick up and not to allow her cashier to give us the price they advertise. Her name is Oriana.

I experienced no issues here. Had my normal pharmacy transfer a med, went to this Walgreens at peak time (Weds @ 5:30 PM), they had it ready to go. NBD

Would give ZERO stars if possible. Somehow withholding medication is acceptable at this location and patient care/wellbeing is out the window. I requested a prescription to be filled as it became available, this was NOT done. I asked to be notified if they were unable to fill it so I could go elsewhere… ALSO NOT DONE. Pharmacy staff is either clueless or blantently rude without a care in the world.If you can fill your scripts elsewhere I would highly suggest you do.

They need to have the option of negative reviews. I have had all of the problems others have already listed. It would be easier to tolerate the many, many mistakes if the pharmacist was not so incredibly rude. Medicare is forcing me to use Walgreens, but as soon as I can I’m going to be moving to a different pharmacy.

Every time I call this location, I wait on hold for 30-45min before the call is hung up. If I try to call again, it’s the same process. It’s been 2 weeks and they continue to tell me they will fill my prescription, yet they still haven’t even processed the script sent by my doctor. I will be switching pharmacies.

This is a review on Walgreens business administration and not on their staff.I moved to Walgreens pharmacy back in June and they have been a nightmare. They made numerous errors with my orders right out of the gate. Filling some that were unneeded and not filling others that were needed.Their notification system was the worst with texts and phone calls constantly. I ended the texts but the phone calls kept coming.The auto refill system was unreliable and I had to often resubmit an order.Once, when they failed to have a prescription that they said was ready, I asked them to mail it to me. They said ok but then called me to tell me the prescription was ready for pick-up. I am not exaggerating when I say that not one month went by without a problem.Their customer service system typically took a long time to speak with anyone about a problem. I often had to wait for quite a while before someone was available to speak with me.I switched to a new pharmacy where I am not experiencing any of these problems anymore.I do not recommend this pharmacy service to anyone.

I wouldn’t bother sending your prescription here. Had my SSRIs sent to this location last week and when I called about why it hadn’t been filled was told that my Dr rejected the prescription. When I called my Dr they told me they sent the prescription. So when I called back to try to figure out why I was told incorrectly information, the responses were “I can’t give you a concrete answer” or “I can’t guess why”. I’m very confused how this is acceptable patient care. This is not a prescription that can be skipped or missed so I’m very confused why I’m being sent through the ringer and given excuses as to why they didn’t do their job. No one can take accountability especially not the pharmacist Laura on duty. Was very condescending on the phone and gave extremely poor patient care. I can’t understand why no one can take accountability or give basic patient care. Will be forwarding my prescriptions elsewhere to avoid this garbage patient care that was provided at this pharmacy by the techs as well as the pharmacist and the store manager.

Please see all the previous one-star reviews. They say it better than I ever could. This pharmacy is totally incompetent and we have changed to CVS because of delays, errors and confusion.

I enjoy shopping for vitamins, health care needs & Rx prescriptions from the pharmacy at all the Walgreens in the greater Madison area, including this one on Fish Hatchery Rd.This locale has all the items one has come to expect from Walgreens.From hair and personal care, snacks and healthy foods, a good sized cooler section for soda and mineral waters, to photo and toys for kids, it's all here.Also good selection of greeting cards, first aid, child care items, stationery and pens/office needs, diet and special nutritional supplements, &vitamins for every age & lifestyle.In addition, there's a good selection of items to help with medical needs such as back support, foot support needs/insoles. And of course wrist-arm-knee-ankle wraps for everything from plantar fasciitis to sprains/stressed tendons & all basic orthopedic support needs.Finally, the staff & pharmacists are very professional & eager to assist you with your health, beauty, & other needs. They are ready for any questions and concerns you may have for exact product specifications, contraindications and recommended use/precautions to take when applying products or treatments.

The store is OK, but the pharmacy completely sucks. As others mentioned you are looking at a minimum 20 minute wait and probably more. One time I thought I was smart avoiding the drive-thru and went inside... only to find a sign that says the pharmacy is drive-thru ONLY. Never seen that before. If you don't have a car you're SOL. Also make sure you avoid 1:30-2 PM which is their lunch break. Apparently they have never heard of hiring multiple people and having them stagger their lunches like every other business on Earth. Please do yourself a favor and use any other pharmacy you possibly can. I've heard good things about Fitchburg Family Pharmacy.

I had an appointment here for my flu shot/booster before Christmas and the staff and pharmacist were very friendly, helpful, and the appointment was pretty quick. I recommend filling out your paperwork online ahead of time to expedite the process!

From my experiences with this Fish Hatchery Rd. Walgreen, it is by far the worst Walgreens in every aspect -- Photos, Pharmacy, General Retail, Management! This place frequently has problems with their machines and their management. In the past, I ordered photos online with my credit card and picked up quickly and easily. Now some managers said I needed my credit card to pick them up cuz the online one is not used. Other managers just let me pick them up cuz they use the one I used online. Another time when purchasing something at general checkout, the machine wouldn’t take my gift card. I called the corporate # and they confirmed it was active and had full amount, and said it’s the store problem with machines. So I took the gift card to a different Walgreens and it worked fine. ”Managers" change daily and they each tell you something different and/or blame “corporate.” The Pharmacy Dept. was another bad experience... the same Walgreens on Fish Hatchery Road, Fitchburg, WI. I went to pick up an order. They couldn't find my order, even though I have a confirmation of it. Yesterday, I had called and spoke with a pharmacist to see if it was ready. She said they were waiting for my insurance to approve payment of it. So today I stopped in (drive through) to see if it was ready. The pharmacist told me they couldn't find any order for me at all -- either in the store or in the pharmacy. I can't believe this place stays in business.

Quite literally the worst pharmacy on the planet. Multiple months in a row I’ve been on hold waiting for someone to pick up for over 30 minutes and then the automated response just asks for a survey and hangs up.Almost everyone there is incompetent. I get the wrong information frequently. They’ll tell me a prescription is ready to refill and and will confirm via text when it’s ready and then I’ll go to the store and they won’t even have processed it yet.If you tell them you need a medicine filled tomorrow morning (before work or a trip) it doesn’t matter. You show up the next morning like that call never happened and they tell you it will be multiple hours before it’s ready.
