Very nice quiet hotel right off the freeway with clean rooms and a good breakfast.

I called the front desk asking for a crib and they stated they couldn’t bring it up to my room. I was all alone with my baby and had my hands full. I do not recommend this hotel for any one looking for service.

My group travel company, sewgreat tours, stayed last weekend at the hotel. I have been in business for 30 years and this is the best welcome we have ever had; they even brought out the red carpet. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are big, the beds are so comfortable, breakfasts we're great and different everyday. They have golf clubs for their putting green and basketballs for their basketball court. The staff is very accommodating. The hotel is next to a hyvee grocery and a target.

We arrived at the Staybridge Suites for a family funeral. At first glance the hotel was nice, clean and amenities were good. However, the service was terrible. When we asked for additional pillows we were initially told that was not possible. Thankfully, one kind member of the housekeeping staff was able to find us some the next day. When we returned to our room that next evening we were surprised to find that we hadn’t had housekeeping, however we know many hotels do not do housekeeping daily. On the third day of no housekeeping we called the front desk and complained. We were guaranteed that we would have housekeeping the next day, that did not happen. We called again and were guaranteed next day again and again it did not happen. We were told that housekeeping said they cleaned it but it had clearly not been done. We were advised that if we needed clean towels we could come to the front desk and get some. We left on the 6th day after having never received housekeeping. We visit Madison often and will never stay here nor recommend it to anyone.

The rooms here are well furnished and clean. Breakfast was good. As others have written, the sole elevator will drive you crazy. It's located in the middle of the building and there are no stairs nearby. So, if you don't mind stairs, ask for a room on one end or the other and take the stairs. The exercise and reduced irritation will be good for your blood pressure. The staff is friendly. One issue is that we had what should have been a simple request related to our reservation that became unreasonably complicated and was very frustrating to resolve. In the end, it got taken care of to our satisfaction, so I didn't mark the rating down for it.

Great hotel in every way except for one flaw. It only has one elevator serving five floors. We loved the large, spacious suite and everything seemed fairly new and working well. I liked being able to crank open the windows a bit to let fresh air in instead of running a fan. We also enjoyed having the complimentary beer (we chose Spotted Cow) along with tortilla chips and tacos on one of the evening social hours (which are held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). It was nice to have a computer and printer in the business center to print off a form for work that I needed the first day there. We weren’t able to eat breakfast here because of our early work hours offsite but I was able to grab a banana and orange on the way out on a couple of mornings which was appreciated. The location is convenient to a large grocery store and restaurants within the area.

Outside of a one big issue, this place is a solid five star. Super nice rooms. Clean and service was really good and the back party and barbecue porch, pool and workout area are all five stars. The issue we had which most of you won't is that they had promised the bride and groom of our wedding party in early check-in because they were getting married in the afternoon. But that didn't happen.

Great hotel, located close to several grocery stores and dinning options! Love that the rooms all have a kitchenette, and that the included hot breakfast changed from day to day. I’d love to see the included happy hour expanded beyond just M-T-W, and the return of daily housekeeping, but outside of those areas I don’t see many opportunities for improvement. Thanks for a nice, restful stay!

This specific location has been a favorite for our family for 4 years. We have had to travel with my husband for business all over the place and this was our hidden gem. That was until this trip. They've gotten rid of the theater room AND the TV in the pool area. I know these may seem like small things, but this is a hotel that largely caters to business travelers, so to have some benefits that set them apart from every other hotel we roll through. Being able to make a night in watching our favorite shows on the biiiiiiiig screen with those fancy reclining seats took otherwise mundane trips and made them something to look forward to.

This hotel was very impressive. The young lady at the check in desk was very friendly, I do not remember her name, but she worked the night shift. When I got to the room, I found it amazing, felt like a little slice of home. Had a mini fully equipped kitchen, office space, and living room. Hope the next time my husband has a business meeting, that it is held at this hotel. I highly recommend Staybridge suites.

I wish hotels would get back to normal in terms of cleaning every day. Its worse in ilbtard cities like this one. 11 days 1 time they came into clean my room. Sure I could request more. I'm just ready to not have to do that every morning I leave for work. Just clean my room daily like you used to. We pay enough to stay there. Keep it clean!

Definitely don’t stay here. Everything was fine after checking in until my girlfriend moved the curtains to close the shades. A swarm of ladybugs (20+) came out. The hotel couldn’t switch our room because they were full but sent housekeeping to vacuum up the bugs. The lady was great but after she left, more ladybugs continued to come out. The final straw was when we also found a stink bug in the room and had to trap it. At this point, the lady bugs had moved from the window to the bed area. We had used the room for a total of four hours before deciding we couldn’t take it anymore. The manager told us that we should expect bugs in the room because the hotel was near the woods. They refused to give us a full refund and still charged us for half a day.
