Made a vaccine appointment online and showed up on time only to find the pharmacy closed and a sign saying they’d open hours later. Completely and totally unprofessional.
Maybe stop spending money on sending me ads in the email encouraging me to switch my prescriptions to you and start staffing your pharmacy reliably? HyVee in general has gotten so bad over the last few years…you’d think they way they have jacked up the prices on groceries they could afford to staff the stores.

They had the incorrect information on appointments on their website, so I signed up for an appointment for my son. However, when we showed up, my son couldn't be seen. They knew this before we arrived and while they did call, they didn't leave a voicemail and we missed the call. When I asked the gentleman behind the counter why they didn't leave a message, he lied to me and said they did leave a message, before conceding that he didn't actually know if anyone left me a message (I checked multiple times, I did not receive a message). Incredibly frustrating experience.

Just got my Covid vaccine there. The nurse giving the shot does not seem to know what she's doing. She hit a nerve and penetrated deep into my muscle, causing numbness and severe pain in my arm. She also said it would bee too "hard" to give both the Covid and flu vaccines into the same arm.

August 22nd, 2023, at 7 pm, I was again super shopping with a two page list for a friend of mine who was out of almost everything. It took me almost 3 hours, and I had two full carts, No idea how in the world I would be able to check out by closing time. Theresa K. and another coworker volunteered to help with the checkout and bagging. These employees have consistently gone above and beyond their job expectations and demonstrated superior customer service. I asked Theresa for the other staff's name, and I wrote it down, but I lost the paper. Please give them commendation for their selfless performance. I live on the other side of the city but consider this my hyvee store!

review is for the Fitchburg, Wisconsin Hy-vee only. The service manager John ruined it for me at this store. He is the rudest person I have ever met and I will no longer go to this Hy-vee solely due to him. Pretty much accused me of stealing when I tried using my husband's employee discount in the self check outs (which I am able to do at other Hy-vees). He rudely requsted all my husband's information to verify I wasn't lying. My husband has been an employee of Hy-vee for over 20 years and no employees at his store would ever treat a customer like John did. I'm actually really surprised Hy-vee would allow such a person to work for them. He shouldn't be allowed to deal with the public. Not good for this location especially when there are other Hy-vees in town to choose from. That's where I'll be going from now on.

The deli at Hy- Vee came to our rescue this past Saturday. We placed an order at Whole Foods weeks ago for food for a bridal shower I was hosting. When we went to pick up the order the main entree was missing ( sandwich wraps) all we had were salads and fruit for the main food. Apparently, they sent an e-mail 3 days prior to let me know of the change in the order due to something they weren't able to get in. I didn't see the e-mail, nor did they try to reach me by phone. I asked if there was anyway that they could help me out or recommend something from their hot deli. The answer was " No there's nothing we can do for you" - I then called HyVee and the polite voice on the phone said "let me see what I can do for you, I will call you back in ten minutes. Ten minutes later he said " yes we can help you, we can provide you with sandwiches and wraps, It can be ready in an hour!! Wow!! Hats of to HyVee and the nice assistant manager who went out of his way to help us! My new shopping store as well!

TL;DRThe pharmacy's staff have always been kind and helpful, but the experience is often hindered by the company's systems and processes.I've been a customer of this pharmacy for years, and talked to multiple pharmacists and their techs through that time.Since I grocery shop here and their pharmacy has decent pricing, I use their pharmacy for Rx orders, but they have long overdue improvements to implement.First, their pharmacy computers and POS computers need to get linked properly. My understanding is that their corporate contacts have told them, many times, that an update will be pushed to link the two, but it never happens. Updates come down and it just changes around their screen, so they don't know where functions exist, anymore, and have to learn all their locations again. This slows down the fulfillment process, which leads to the second facet.Lines. They've become better staffed than in previous years, and staff is expensive, but they need staff specialized in fulfilling specific tasks, such as filling and readying orders on their computers. These techs can remain on their specific tasks and not be allowed to get sidelined by customers with 21 questions and no urgency to let the staff carry on.If customers have questions about their Fuel Saver + Perks, like I've repeatedly seen, pass them to nearby Customer Service. Their staff are trained and specialize in that subject. They can quickly look up Fuel Saver + Perks balances and answer questions. Extended pharm Q&A just adds to the Rx fulfillment queue. Also, do yourself a favor and put a few queue markers on the ground to show people where to line up. There are 3 options where customers can queue, so it becomes confusing when 4 people are in line, but 2 are invisibly waiting in the product aisle. That's a fine place to queue people, but ground markers at the corner of the aisle need to indicate the queue's starting point.Moving on to robocalls that Rx orders are ready:The caller ID for these calls is constantly shifting, so it often appears as "Unknown" or "Restricted" caller, when it should simply appear as the pharmacy's main *5122 number.Frequency of these calls has also been unreliable, in the past. Make sure each order receives exactly one phone call only when the ORDER is fulfilled (not each time an individual Rx is fulfilled).Ex: my order of 3 prescription refills doesn't need 3 separate phone calls. Just one call, when the order is fulfilled, is all that is necessary.Lastly: pricing errors. I've had both insurance and GoodRx billed. Train staff on checking the previous month's refill, to make sure their current refill mirrors its previous billing net total. If comparing the two months' medications, by name, doesn't have a matching $ amount, it should prompt the tech to check the reason. This issue is especially prevalent with Schedule 1 meds as Hy-Vee's order processing resets billing methods when it needs to change the Rx number. Logic in the system should also read a keyword match, so it prompts the tech to use the same billing as the previous month.Stacking insurance with a manufacturer's savings coupon also complicates final billing, so simply prompting a tech to match the previous month's billing method can save a ton of time filling orders. These improvements will greatly enhance this pharmacy's productivity and customer experience. I hope that my fellow customers and I start to see their implementation.Keep hiring quality people. That's always been this pharmacy's strong suit.

We shop at HyVee Fitchburg when we are staying in the Fitchburg condo. Great selection, nice clean store, bakery is tremendous. Sooooooo ... why the low rating? Checkout. Usually only one checkout operating. I know you would like to channel all of us to self-checkout, but many of us prefer the checkout with an actual human.More checkouts, please!

This review is specifically for George in floral -- he was an absolute lifesaver and a gem to work with. I came in and needed balloons on the spot and he made it happen. He helped me get a bouquet together too in order to celebrate a graduate. The floral department was slammed with graduations, Mother's Day, weddings and Proms, but George kept his cool and was really friendly. Thanks George!

Let's just say how awesome that this Hyvee has a USPS drop off location. I resell and working a normal job and the hours fit my schedule. They also have an amazing gluten free section. The only complaint I have is the lack of wet cat food and I understand that's an all over problem. Thank you for working during the pandemic you guys are rock stars. Keep up the good work !

It was a little bumpy when I first started here, but that has been all straightened out now. The main issue is that they don’t always have everything in stock so they have to order it in. Since I started ordering my refills the day before picking them up, I haven’t had any issues.

Nothing more comforting after a diagnosis than having to call multiple times over multiple hours to get a script filled. Thanks fellas, wont bother you again ?
