“This is a great store with plenty of options for funny and sarcastic gifts. I like to buy cards there as they are funnier and less expensive than a card from most other stores. One of the co-owners helped us at checkout, and she was friendly and social. There are no other businesses like this store in the Madison area. It's definitely worth checking out!”
“Century House furniture delivery staff members Brady and John were outstanding!! We have a 1938 house that has smaller door openings. They did their remarkably professional assessment of the sectional’s and the doorways’ dimensions. They figured out how to position our new furniture so well, that by a hairs-breadth it made it unscathed into our downstairs living room. The care these two took of our purchase was breathtakingly amazing. I am ecstatically pleased with Century House and the commitment that all of them so capably share with their customers. Thank you. Small local business that tries to carry items that are made by artists that are local or at least from the USA. There are a lot of fun gifts with Wisconsin theme. The space is gorgeous lovely wooden floors and feels so historic and cozy. I love the way it’s decorating and how I feel when I’m in this space. So many people in my life are trying to downsize so purchasing a useful object such as a dish cloth or an apron or some tiny cute opossum or puppy or capybara that they can put on their desk or stick to their computer. The jewelry is very fun and I love the local artists. The owner and the people who work here interact like you wear a long lost friend and they really appreciate you coming by and supporting small businesses. They even put photographs of your pet up on the wall.”
“I had visited Rubin’s a dozen times over the years and had always wanted a really nice sofa. When the time was finally right, we visited the new showroom and ran into JJ. After narrowing our selection down to 2 sofas, JJ visited our home to lend his design expertise and draw up how each sofa would fit into our space. We settled on the Titan and some additional recommendations for our space and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was white glove and after sale communication has been great.Purchasing a piece from Rubin’s is a big deal, these are high quality pieces that are accompanied by high quality service. I’ve visited all the stores, nothing compares to Rubin’s.”

“We visited this location twice while determining new flooring for our dining room. Last evening we made our decision to purchase one of the hardwood floors. Within less than a minute of our arrival to the flooring area, the employee in the area had greeted us and offered his assistance. He then ensured they had enough of the flooring available and also provided assistance locating trim pieces and the matching stain. He also offered to load the flooring (11 boxes) into our vehicle. At the checkouts we were warmly greeted by additional associates who also welcomed our dog into the store. Such great customer service and a pleasant experience! We will definitely return to this location for our next project. We jotted down some of the employee's names who were so helpful: Daniel, Claire and Shannon.”

The At Home store has great pictures. Great frames great organizational stuff for your kitchen in your home and really great furniture and if you don’t mind putting something together, they have great bookcases and tables. It’s a fun store. Staff is really nice. Check it out.”

“The staff at this location was both a very polite, and incredibly helpful. I do not live in this area, but was here for work and popped in because I saw the -sale- sign outside. I was greeted at the door and told about the sale by a lovely young woman, and after looking around and scoping out their Halloween decor, but not finding the piece I had seen at my local Kirklands (before the sale), I approached the gentleman behind the counter. I had taken photos, so he looked it up and it did not look like they were going to be getting it anytime soon. He informed me that the sale was chainwide, and not just this location, and then offered to call the store I had seen the item at and have them hold it for me.
Above and beyond! Customer service really does make a difference, and that gentleman made my day!”

Larger furniture is at the warehouse, but you can follow on Instagram or talk to the owner/employees about events or pieces you are interested in. That's how we got our working Grundig!
