Tried to come and donate a nice rug that I could sell but thought you all would appreciate making the money off. only to be told by some kid that you won't take it? Who gets to decide? It was in great condition and it's a waste of my time. Then on top of it he didn't even help me unload. Won't be back to donate things here.

In recent months, prices at this location have absolutely skyrocketed. This used to be a very trusty source for bargains. As of late it’s likely the priciest goodwill / st Vinny’s in the Madison area.

Selection is okay. Prices are kinda steep for a thrift store. I’m not overly pleased with the staff, though. Every time I’ve been here, they’ve been mediocre at best. This most recent time, the lady ringing me up quite rude. She completely ignored me until I set my things on the counter and was rude and dismissive throughout the rest of the transaction.

Fair prices, even though some don't make a lot of sense. I get it, you have multiple employees pricing some of the same stuff, and trying to keep to a standard policy. You can't nail it on every price.
I just visited today, for the first time in a couple of months. They had a sale on vases — $1.99. Previously, the sale signs would say "unless otherwise marked." In this case, it means that vases were sale priced at $1.99, but any of the nice, heavier glass vases were $5+.
That's fine, but they changed their signs. Instead of a clear ≈18pt font, noting the pricing exception, they made the font much smaller. It even looks like they shrunk the side of the *asterisk. I was specifically looking for this exception verbiage, and it's so small that looking up, past the stand's base, often covers the fine print.
Hiding fine print on a thrift store's sale sign is no bueno. Every shopper seeks straightforward pricing.
Please update your signs to be clear about the sale pricing's exceptions, so shoppers aren't constantly bringing up items that they feel they got a sale/deal price on. When the item's pricing is actually reverted to a sticker price that's 2-4x the cost, it's not a good look, especially for a thrift store.
