In my 2023 review I was still holding out a little hope. No longer. My doctor is pretty good and they do listen well to my opinion on what is best for my health. So much of my medical history and records are there so I am reluctant to just switch to somewhere else. But the services continue to decline. They now are charging a $10 fee for MyChart messages that require anything over 5 minutes of service. What?! I gave the eye center another try for a small service of adjusting my eyeglass. They wouldn't do it if the glasses weren't bought from them! I went to another eyeglass place where I didn't purchases my glasses and they were more than happy to make the adjustment and even went further by putting on some new silicone pads! I have a future change in my insurance and they requested I contact them. Why? The insurance they have on record is what I have now and when my insurance changes I will contact them. So I called them and they were condescending and rather abrupt in telling me all about what I need to do. (of which I am fully aware).

The people at the pharmacy are so rude, don’t go here. Idk who pissed off the lady at the pharmacy but she was so rude and I do not plan on ever coming back here. The most nervous and uncomfortable medical interaction I think I’ve ever had.

I reached out to Group Health Cooperative to seek help choosing the right individual health coverage for myself after being laid off. They responded to my email right away with a link to the information I needed to fill out in order to get a quote. I was instructed to fill this out before calling the broker, at which time she would help me pick a plan. The email contained no further help or support. The form was confusing. I called the broker to ask a few questions, to make sure I was doing it right, and I haven't received a call back. I've gone through insurance brokers before, and previously (at other companies) they walked me through the entire process, explaining how to estimate my income for the coming year, how that would affect my rates, and what would happen if I overpaid based on this estimate. I was asked a lot of questions about my situation and had help finding plans that my preferred doctors would accept. Group Health Cooperative has provided nothing and has not been responsive. I'm not impressed and will be seeking help elsewhere.

I used to love GHC but their billing practices are now criminal. I pay $200 in premiums for a platinum plan *with them* and they’re still charging me $300 for a one hour physical therapy appointment, instead of a $30 copay for a specialist. So much for improving the healthcare in system in the US - GHC-SCW is just rolling around in the mud with all of the other pigs loving the legally-allowed extortion they’re practicing.

This place is disgusting. I'm paying $200 in insurance premiums every month (on top of my employer's contribution) and they still want to charge me $300 for a one hour *physical therapy* appointment, instead of the $30 copay it should be. What's even worse is they actually charge $500 for a physical therapy appointment, so the $300 is after insurance covered 40% of it. I've been coming here for over a decade and this never used to be the case. I don't know what changed but I would go literally anywhere else now because this is basically extortion.

Don’t bother with telehealth appointments. The doctors don’t care and never take their eyes off their computer screens. How can thy measure anything outside of some stupid boxes/algorithms. Hate this

I have a suspicious looking spot on my face. So I made an appointment with dermatology. I was maybe 10 minutes late because of construction and they tell me they have a 9 minute late policy then they cancel your appointment. 9 minutes? Wht don't they round it off to 10? I'm thinking who comes up with an arrogant number like 9 then oh I'm so sorry. How many times do you just sit in a doctor's office anyway, do you think the sky would fall if a doctor shuttled from one office to the other like you know they do. This is for something that could be cancer. Not to mention their office is 20 miles from me. I thought leaving 50 minutes ahead of time would of done the trick. I've had nothing but trouble with GHC. I went to get new glasses at Shopko Optical which I used when I had Quartz. I got the exam but when picking out my frames the woman at Shopko says GHC has their own eye clinics so subsequently I paid $75 for something which should of been free. So when I mentioned that at GHC when I went to get frames the lady at the desk thought it was funny. I called their customer service number and that lady laughed too. Trust me, my healthcare woes shouldn't be funny. GHC, you're not funny you're sad.

She said that she cannot help me with anything that I asked her for except referring me back to a sleep, doctor, and another neurology assessment. She complained about me cutting her off while she was speaking and bouncing around as if I did not have ADHD. I was frustrated that she was not listening to me and not helping me because I've been going back-and-forth with doctors for the last two years about my memory and she put me on hold and I was listening to elevator music before I decided to hang up on her and you don't see any of that in her notes. I wonder why... a lot of her notes is bullshit and I never said it. Not once did I discuss my children.

I had the worst experience speaking to Tricia over the phone from GHC-SCW. She was rude and even though her job is schedule appointments, she told me a nurse had to call me back to schedule. When I called a day earlier and spoke with Allison, who is in the same position as Tricia, Allison seemed to be able to access the calendar and look at available times no problem. Allison on the other hand was kind and willing to help in anyway. Wish i spoke with Allison when i called back the next day.

I don't even want to leave a review. While some of the staff was super nice, enough of my experience was extremely disappointing that I would rather not say more.
