Poor poor business we purchased $137 in meat last week 2/23/24 bought their frozen short ribs, I wish I could post the picture I took it’s all FAT how can you sell this, I paid $27 for fat. I’ll never be back and I’ll certainly be spreading the word. I guess the manager at the hotel was right….,

This is our "brat stop" when coming to our land in Grant County. We always make note of the local, small store hours & stop when we can; maybe a few times when in Fennimore, Wi. Today, we had a great conversation with the owner on his new creation, the "gummy bear" brat. Our son wanted to get a few packages, but we compromised on egg roll brats. This is a small family owned butcher, but their specialty is homemade brats with great service. A few of our favorite flavors are the firecracker, Reuben & chicken bacon ranch. If you can find the elusive gyro, those are rare & made for a special IA group. There usually are a few bags of squeaky fresh Carr Valley cheese curds on the counter for sale as well. Brats + cheese + fresh + delicious + = love

Very good butcher shop and meat market. Good selection of fresh beef and pork products including sausage. They also provide excellent deer processing services including making excellent sausages.

We purchased a beef tenderloin from The Butcher for our Christmas family dinner...I can't express how flavorful and tender this was. It was beyond expectations. They do such a wonderful job, we are now loyal customers who will always shop at the Butcher.
