Honestly dont really know what to say about this place besides i am not pleased. When i had messaged asking about a horse, we talked for a bit about a horse that was currently feral. i told her i was willing to wait because i understand they cant give me a feral horse… when i sent the adoption application over she had contacted me saying none of my references answered the phone calls and i asked one of my references why she didnt answer and it was because she never even got a call… i had informed the owner of this and told her i can have my references call her instead because she never got a call, but instead she dismissed me and in her polite way denied me… now i dont know if this is because im 18 and she doesnt think i can handle a horse, let alone a feral horse, or she just didnt want to cooperate with me. either way it was unprofessional to just dismiss me like that instead of giving me AND my references a chance…

Very nice place! My daughter was interested in learning about horses so I signed her up for their day class where they teach all of the basics about horse care and maintenance. Very informative and super patient with children of all ages and skill levels. She walked away with an appreciation for horse care and she’s very excited to start taking horseback riding lessons in the near future.

The world is a better place with Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary in it. Erin was great to work with and helped us to adopt a great horse. Hannah and Charles were the volunteers that met us and assisted us with the pick up and they were very friendly, kind and helpful. Overall a great experience ❤

I adopted Ellie an almost 18 hand Percheron mare. She was obviously abused at a young age and then left unhandled for years. When I got her you couldn’t even look at her she was gone and was always on high alert! I gave her the time she needed to come around and get comfortable (which was way more than a year!) I wanted to give up and questioned my decision but I decided to give her the chance she deserved. Many people give up on an animal way to soon and my wish would be that everyone has understanding in their hearts and enough love for the animal to give them the time “they” need to succeed! I’ve had her now for two years and we are really moving with training! She learned all 3 gaits while I ride her and has become an all around wonderful horse! It may time some time and you may get a horse with some underlying issues but if you have love and patience in your heart you too can do this! I have never trained a horse until Ellie and as challenging as it has been I wouldn’t trade it for a million dollars! The bond that we have made through love and compassion for the animal is unbreakable. The end result of riding a horse and having that horse WANT to please you and WANT to be with you is far more rewarding than buying some horse you’ve put no time into to make your own. Please give adoption a chance and give the horse a chance! Let them take the time they need please don’t rush them and out them on a timeline be flexible and you will be successful!! Ellie is the second horse I adopted from here my first one sadly passed away and if and when the time is right I’ll adopt another!
