“Hear me out….. I know scrap yards are generally not very friendly places but …..The super cute lil’ lady behind the service desk coulda sold me the whole place if I stayed long enough ;) picked me up a little Toyota engine & some trim pieces I really needed. Couldn’t find them anywhere, I’ll definitely be back because of their customer service & prices & pleasant atmosphere”
“Test drove Ford fiesta. YOUCANIC scanner pulled multiple error codes. Wipers failed, headlights failed. Lug nut missing. Head lamp plastic broken off and wobbling under hood. Rusted shocks front and rear. Interior ok. I offered a lot under sales price as the above. Anyhow, the kind salesman waved me off to a Ford Focus.
Focus was better though was rebuilt. That lowered the price by $500. Multiple dtc's. Cleared all codes and test drove. No codes on return. Battery voltage low around 11 after test drive. The undercarriage had been tore up fierce. The splash shields were missing. Wheel liner driver's side slapdash replacement prevented me from seeing the zip-tied ECU hanging in the open air. Brake vacuum tube tip was snapped off and engine decompression created stutter acceleration. Super dusty caked on dirt. 1" of resting dirt within rocker panels suggested it was under water if only partially. Tires fair. Interior nice with leather and all the doo-dads and cold weather package factory installed. Missing engine cover, battery cover. Rear bumper repair was well done.
Anyhow, I bought it and dropped about $500 for new battery, transmission fluid, oil change, ECU case, wheel well liner, front splash shields. Applied RTV gasket sealer to vacuum tube, zip-tied it into place. Wash, wash, wash, clay bar, wax, ceramic treatment helped exterior filth.
Result: car runs well, low miles and fun to drive.
It is a used/rebuilt car lot soooo....low expectations, low prices combined with willingness to fix any problems eliminates disappointment. Buy quality OBD II scanner and save yourself a lot of headaches. YOUCANIC $550 gets a car specific level deep dtc check. Minimum borrow free scanner from Orielly's nearby.
Salesman was nice, honest enough.
As always, caveat emptor.”
“A family run business that I've dealt with on a few different occasions. Very honest and helpful. No sales pressuring.. I had a small problem with a vehicle I bought and they took care of it no questions asked for no charge. Will definitely do business here again”
