I tried to call about any available units, as we are in the process of moving 2 houses into 1. And he answered the phone rudely, asked who I was and if he knew me, and what i was looking to store. Then said he didnt know if he had any available units because it’s Sunday. I responded and said I understand that it’s Sunday. This is my only off day and that’s why I’m making phone calls scratching things off the todo list.
Overall horrible experience from the start. Glad he showed his true colors now before I would have ended up being stuck in a lease with someone who lacks business professionalism.

Was contacted ( screamed at)by male that damage was done to outside slider lock thing. He accused my son. I was at work and wanted to see what he was talking about after work. He called again saying he needed to get in there to repair and needed money to fix. It was obviously someone trying to break in( no cams and poor lighting) why would we compromise the security of our belongings? He threatened to call Rock County police. So I did. Was told of past calls about him. Told him I would get my stuff out so he could repair. Would give him 30 days notice and pay for that last whole month. Just so I wouldn't have to deal with him.On my dime, he's already rented it out. Buyer beware...

My run in with this guy is identical to Jim Fitzpatrick's in these reviews. This guy has some obsession about what you have, and weirdly enough tries to mandate what goes in the doors you are TRYING to rent. Insanely terrible tactic and garbage practice will most likely put these storage units under new ownership in the foreseeable future. Look elsewhere!

I called and a male answered the phone, I asked him if there was any units available and he asked what I'm storing. 1st red flag. So I keep trying to get a straight answer and he refuses. I asked him how much the units are, his answer was a question - what ya got? 2nd massive red flag. I'm not sure if he's mentally handicapped or just a drunk at this point, but all he kept saying is 'I don't know you', so unless you're one of his pals I guess they don't have any storage units. Even if he decides to rent to you, I'd steer far away from this clown.

Owner was explaining pricing then said there's a $100.00 DEDUCTABLE????? When I asked what the deductable was for [ A DEDUCTABLE IS FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES...WHY DOES HE NEED A DEDUCTABLE? ] he said " I WOULDN'T DO BUSINESS WITH YOU....HUH??? " I called back immediately no Answer, I explained I'd like to do buisness with him or if he choose not to return my call I would go to the BBB ABOUT HIM AND LET OTHERS KNOW OF HIS RUDE PRACTICES. ****THE OWNER**** ****DISCRIMINATES**** AGAINST WHAT QUESTIONS YOU ASK....... He called me back and was very beligerant on the phone, making demands that I give him my personal information. VERY RUDE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!!!

Would NEVER TRUST THIS "LADY" or is it the boyfriend? STOLD EVERYTHING I HAD IN MY STORAGE!!! That boyfriend of hers did it!! YES I KNOW WHAT YOU DID! You should be ashamed of yourselves! UNBELIEVABLE!

Rented this unit to temporarily store a lot of our belongings between selling one house and buying another. It was close and convenient, so I used it. Rented two 10 x 10 units for about 5 months. We moved in November and loaded up the storage units. When we came back in March to check things out (after having our offer accepted on a new house), we opened the first unit and were shocked to find an inch or two of ice throughout the entire unit. We took everything out of the unit, removed all of the ice, laid down tarps, and then put everything in again for a few more weeks. We had numerous items ruined ... picture frames, movie posters, art work, furniture, etc. When I called to discuss this with the owner, I was told that I should have put everything on the pallets provided. I mentioned that there were no pallets provided and was told that everything was water tight. I was also told that the area would be regularly cleared of snow and was well maintained. It was obvious that the snow built up against the door and then when it melted it all went under the door and into the unit. It then froze again when the temperature dropped. This is not covered by insurance because of the type of damage and the owner refused any compensation. I was just told repeatedly that I should have used the pallets that weren't provided or ever mentioned. The other unit had some ice at the front of the unit but was mostly okay. Also, I paid a $100 deposit on each unit. On the day I moved out, I let the owner know that I was moving out and told her which units. She said thanks and that the units would be inspected after everything was cleared out. I waited a couple of weeks since I hadn't received my deposit yet and called to let her know my new address in case she needed that and to discuss the deposit. She said she was just going to call me and thanked me for the call...so I thought I was all set. A month later I still didn't receive the deposits. I tried to call numerous times, but no answer and no call back. I finally got a call back and was told I needed to send in my original receipts in order to get my deposit back. This was never mentioned to me once in any conversations and was not in the contract. She made it sound like that was an obvious thing that I should have known. She also said that it's the only way she'd know that I didn't already get my deposit back. I disagreed with that since her check register and records should be able to track that quite easily. Luckily I saved my contracts and receipts so I sent those in and got my $200 back eventually, but I was definitely given the runaround here. I always paid on time and was a good tenant, but this was not a great experience at all. I'd personally choose another option for your storage in Edgerton.

You should be more honest! Don't rent from them if you want to keep your things! Fat over grown pigs!!
