This past January, I needed brakes in my car replaced. They worked, but were failing and I was concerned. I was visiting my elderly grandmother (I live 11 miles away). She said I'll call Flood's. I was like "I don't know it's Saturday afternoon." They aren't going to look at it now. Monday. She's like, "No, I will call". So anyway they said that they were closing, but if I could come straight down they would stay open. So, they took my car for a ride and came back and put it on the hoist and told me that my brakes needed replacing, but it was safe to drive for the immediate future. They said that I couldn't get in with them for 2 weeks, but assured me that it was safe to drive for at least a month. They named other local garages to take it to ( I'm local, I know all the garages). I just thought it was honest and I appreciated it, plus staying open late. And the banter. "I thought your aunt was the hottest girl in class." "Is your grandmother ninety yet, because we're making a list of all the people in Eden that are ninety." Yeah, I said and he wrote it on the list and showed me the others. The loose candy bars for $1.00 each (written in black marker) in an old 6Pack cardboard bottom. I hadn't been in there in 30+ years. I will definitely do business with them again. Full service when they are open. Otherwise, you know how to self serve. You don't EVER see that anymore. Mayberry. Oh and my break replacement charge was $325. ??

The fellows at Flood Oil truly remind me of the gas stations when I was growing up: people who really care for you and your car and devote themselves honestly and sincerely with the customer's total satisfaction in mind. You'll be hard-pressed to find a dedicated crew of their equal in Fond du Lac County.
