The pharmacy assistant put me on hold, I’m assuming she thought I would hang up after 10 minutes, then proceeded to accidentally unmute and responded to the pharmacist I was still on the line. And then hung up on me.Insulted, humiliated and hurt. Who does that? Walgreens employees on Clairemont apparently.

Pharmacist made mistake on quantity and no proper explanation and wrong label. No apology on that and just watched and the young pharmacy tech apologized instead

There can be long lines which is never fun; but the employees of the pharmacy are consistently very professional and very pleasant.

Only one person working both counter and drive through!

Long wait times to pick up prescriptions both inside and in the drive-thru (like 20-30 minute wait times.) You feel badly for the pharmacy workers because you know they are overworked, underpaid and understaffed. I ended up transferring my entire family's prescriptions to Hy-Vee, after a very rude pharmacy worker canceled my prescription order when I was upset that my medication was not ready for pick-up (when I got an email stating it was ready.) She rudely told me there were 400 people waiting for their prescriptions too, and that I should return in 30 minutes. I decided to go inside to wait and shop. When I finally got to the counter to let the pharmacy staff know I was inside, they told me my order had been canceled! Other family members and friends have had similar issues with rude pharmacy staff. There are many other pharmacies in Eau Claire...I would recommend you use the services of those pharmacies.

The service in pharmacy is in massive decline, but even worse since Thanksgiving. They explained delays in dispensing medication on Thanksgiving and then Christmas and New Years. We are approaching January and it's just as bad. I have one script that can only be filled the day you run out. My doctor sends it to them monthly, days in advance to make sure there is adequate time for Walgreens to prepare it. The last few months it hasn't been ready and I have had to miss several doses, which isn't medically sound. Walgreens is very aware of the medication involved and it's importance. Every time I call there to find out what's going on I end up feeling sorry for the employees. There just aren't enough of them. However that's not my fault or under my control. Wait times in the drive ups are crazy long for the same reason. This place really needs to reorganize

Pharmacists rude and do not take the time to explain immunizations options and procedures. If you have an insurance issue, they do not care and treat people like crap.

I knew it was a mistake to go. 215 flu shot. Left at 230. No shot. They couldn’t give me a time frame either. So much for being able to “conveniently” schedule online. Will go somewhere else.

I have had several horrible experiences at this pharmacy. I understand that staffing is difficult at the moment, but why is it I can get better, friendlier and quicker service at other pharmacies. Dealing face to face with the staff at the counter, is the only way to properly communicate with the staff. Often, calling results in 30-45 minute wait times and staff usually cannot properly answer your questions or concerns

Your technician Brianna is extremely rude and condescending. I waited in the drive through today for an hour, got up to the window and she was chatting it up with her work buddies...laughing and carrying on, then got on the computer to do whatever and did not acknowledge that I was there for almost 20 min.... even after I hit the Service call button. Once she did help (if you want to call it that) she was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I was picking up a medication for my son and she didn't even ask his birthdate. This girl needs an extreme attitude adjustment or a new job.

No respect for people's time. Called in a refill told me 90 minutes and it would be ready came in 4 hours later and no prescription die to a doc pre approval but they couldn't pick up a phone and inform someone so they don't drive all the way to town for nothing. Then walking out of the building I slip and fall on a big ice patch right at the main entrance. Hurt my knee.

This Walgreens exemplifies exactly what's wrong with the American medical system and it's grotesque failure on a grand scale as exampled here. . I called with a simple question about Covid testing and was put on hold by the tech. Another tech came on and was rude to the absolute extreme. If the good folks at Walgreens took on too much with all this Covid thing in testing and shots , they need to own it. This wasn't a screaming match but just plain rudeness. No "thank you" . No thanks for choosing Walgreens. (If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.) Click.
